  • I had the AZ shot today. Didn't hurt one bit and no sore arm or any symptoms so far.
  • They got one fact wrong. It's a 7 day lockdown for them right now but who knows, might end up longer yet. If any of them that leave have been to any of the exposure sights they'll be contacted most likely and put in quarantine or worse.
  • Husband and I get our AZ jab in 3 days time :)
  • I'm so jealous! I really want tons of animals but at least some chicken would be wonderful. That is so funny about the turkey! I'll be travelling Australia more and more soon so no new pets for me :(
  • We still have had zero cases of community spread Covid here in North Queensland. I'm guessing that will change once more international borders open eventually maybe next year. We and New Zealand have our bubble which seems to be working so at least there is travel there. Thinking of all that are dealing with this. Keep…
  • Dragonfruit looks lovely and I enjoy it as it is but it's not really very sweet so maybe add another sweeter fruit with it or some form of sweetener you enjoy. Nice idea making a pudding with fruit and chia. I've only made it with chia and cacao powder with a little monkfruit sweetener.
  • Well with a lot of getting on and off the fence about the AZ shot I'm booked into the waiting list and so is husband. Glad I don't need to think about it anymore really. Oz is now finally getting Moderna at the end of the year and some the following year but I think best not to wait to see how it goes with the roll out of…
  • Thanks for your thoughts Kimny. I will go ahead with the AZ as soon as I can have it. Totally trust your opinion. I do love to see the world too and can't wait for things to be normal again every where.
  • Gale so sorry to hear that. Gosh.... Glad you are ok.
  • Thing is in my region which is North QLD we've this entire time had only one case of Covid ever and it was only from a politician that flew here then put herself in hospital ASAP when she got symptoms so it didn't get spread in the community. We have almost zero risk or at least that is how it has been since Covid was a…
  • So true. Lets pray it stays that way. <3
  • Really happy you have a choice there pretty lamma. I now have a DIL pregnant so just another thing to worry about. Covid better not get bad here or I'll be totally freaking out.
  • They changed the rules here recently. Only over 50's can get the AZ but I don't like how it's going so far. I think they all were in hospital and didn't die though. Wish we had a choice on what to get.
  • 5 people this week alone got blood clots from the AZ shots here in Australia. I've always been pro vaccine but now I'm not so sure especially as we have low rates of Covid. So confused.
  • I will try that for sure jenilla. Still the sinus/allergy thing we have is an issue. I have always been working out where we are going next overseas mostly since we were teenagers so I really hope it's not an issue. Maybe a doctor certificate will get us on planes but still worried if others don't know it's just allergies…
  • We have so many Frequent Flyer mile points to travel around the world and I'm worried we won't be allowed on a plane now. We have no Covid here but we do have bad sinus and allergy issues plus DH is a smoker so we are always coughing, sneezing etc.. but not sick. We also get our flu vax now days too and will get the Covid…
  • I tried your recipe out. Worked out great!
  • We have very close to zero cases still of Covid in Australia and I'm still going to get my AZ shot when I'm able to which should be very soon. I have too much I want to see and do yet so if a shot keeps me out of hospital then give it to me because we know Covid can go crazy anywhere in the blink of an eye. I'm extremely…
  • Very happy for you that you got the Vax and got over the side effects. Wonder when I will. Soon I think.
  • Ummm.. I hope no anaphylaxis, shingles or blood clots! Not sure which you got but they are the two I'm worried about when I get mine which will be AstraZeneca. You sound rather happy though so that is good :) I'm going for a shingles shot before it I think. I'm old enough now.
  • Australia and New Zealand started our Trans-Tasman bubble as of yesterday so we are free to travel between the two countries even unvaccinated and without testing. I hope this works out well. It's so nice seeing so many family and friends finally reunited! I would feel better about it if we'd have to do one of those rapid…
  • That daily testing doesn't seem to be working very well does it? Someone a page or two back said they were catching it while playing their sport so obviously they to go into isolation for two weeks before a game. When we had the Australian Open tennis on and international players arrived they had to go into isolation. Some…
  • I'm no expert. I just do what I'm told and our ways of dealing with it are working very well so I'll keep doing what we are asked for the short time we may need a mask and I always trying to social distance and wash/use sanitiser. We haven't even had Covid here other than when one politician flew in and it was lucky she…
