Hi, please feel free to add me. I am 60 and have been overweight all my life. I have 100 pounds to lose and this isn't my first time on fitness pal either. Arthritis along with my age makes it difficult but I want to become as healthy as I can. Partners are a great motivation for me! We CAN do this together!

Thanks everyone! I have let things sabotage me but I have to focus on me when it comes to food. I know my relationship with food isn't healthy and I'm going to work hard to change that. You all are right, we CAN do it!

I'm finding what's the hardest is cooking for my family the things that they like. I like them too. Anything I like, I have a hard time with wanting 2nd helpings of some of the high calorie food. Any tips for that?

That is exactly what I did last winter. I know what I need to do. I had lost some weight and then did just what you did. I now don't like the way that weight back on me feels! Lousy! I like Biggest Loser. I guess I looked at it differently, knowing I physically can't do what they do and that they were being medically supervised constantly to do it safely.
