  • Finished W4D1 this morning. Shin splints are totally gone, keeping my fingers crossed that they don't return.
  • If the meal was really huge, I'll freeze some of it. My go-to leftover meals are enchiladas or soup. I've also mixed everything in rice for a fried rice type of thing or potatoes for a hash. Depends on the type of leftovers, what I have on hand and what i'm in the mood for.
  • Finished W3D2 this morning and made it through all of the runs. So much easier than W3D1. I slowed down my runs and did more stretching between each one. Didn't get the shin pain and calves didn't tire out so fast. Woo!

  • I'm not doing any stretches before, just the walking warm up. This morning I started doing mini calf stretches after each run interval and a good long stretch after: ham string, calf, quad, hip flexor, inner thigh. I had been doing stretches after, but the mini stretches in the middle helped sooo much
  • I finished W1D3 this morning and feel the same way. I did really well the first half, but by the end of the second half I barely made it the full minute. So out of shape!

  • Hi, I just joined MFP too and am in Chandler. Small world! I've been almost completely sedentary for the past few years (working from home). I've kind of, sort of tried to get into shape before, but quickly fall off the wagon. Really serious about it this time and woulde love to have someone to go through it with.
