  • I just bought some clothes and yes they are a size 0. As someone who has gone through eating disorders this post is pretty off putting because I am a healthy weight and am loosing weight the right way. So to assume that everyone who is a size 0 has an eating disorder is irritating to say the least. I can also say that a…

  • This is what's on my grocery list this week. There aren't a lot of fruits and veggies because we go through a co-op. Pasta shells Firm tofu Agave Extra firm tofu Onions (for making my own vegetable stock) Peanut butter Almonds Frozen spinach Bread Beans- 2 chickpea, 1 black, 1 kidney Soy milk Coconut milk Rice Cucumber…
  • I add silken tofu to mine, sounds weird but you can't taste it and it's only 50 calories, but adds 6 grams of protein per serving.
  • There's a vegetarian korma recipe on allrecipes that's awesome, it calls for heavy cream, but we just sub that with a can of coconut milk to make it vegan, just pair it with brown rice.
  • I'm 5'3 and I'm currently stuck at 110 and have been for the past month or so. I'm hoping to end up at 108, but I know it will come with time and have started to focus on weights and trying to build muscle a couple days a week.
  • Wow! We spend maybe $300 a month on groceries. We're a family of 4 plus 2 dogs and a cat. We're on a remote military base and eat vegan. Everything is made from scratch minus cereal. That total also includes animal foods and toiletries.
  • My new favorite is about a tablespoon of chocolate chips, when it comes out of the microwave I add a teaspoon of peanut butter. Tastes like a peanut butter cup.

  • I really think it's personal preference. I workout in the mornings and don't eat breakfast mostly because if I do it gives me heartburn.
  • Watched forks over knives and vegucated a couple of nights ago and now I'm taking the steps to become vegan...
  • I always hated running as well. I started running because I was able to burn more calories in a shorter amount of time. Then a bunch or us signed up for run for your lives, and now I'm signed up for the color run at the beginning of April.
  • I'm 5'3 and aiming for 108. I started at 146 and only have 7 pounds left! Feel free to add me.
  • When I first started it was every Monday, then as I progressed and lost less weight it was every 2 weeks and now that I only have 7 pounds left it'll be the first of every month.
  • Ah yes, jelly donuts and Oreos are nasty too. Jelly donuts are just blobs of nasty goo and Oreos leave a nasty film in my mouth, those grandma's cookies are gross too. Tastes like disintegrated cardboard.
  • Marshmallows plain, good in hot chocolate and Rice Krispie treats, not good by themselves, jello, I hate eggs, and chocolate milk makes me gag.
  • Me too, always has to be an even number. I also chew on my hair, but only certain ones. I have blond hair, but also have coarse jet black hair mixed in and those are the ones I pull out. It feels soothing between my fingers and I also do it if I'm anxious, nervous, or bored.
  • Just keep at it. I started at a 12 minute mile, right now I'm at an 8:30 minute mile and I'm thinking about upping it again.
  • I started out at 146 pounds (my highest ever). Since the beginning of August I've lost 31 pounds and have 7 more to go.
  • Not currently, but insanity was the first workout I did when I starts MFP. I lost 20 pounds in the first 2 months. Keep at it, it gets easier, I still do the workouts every now and then for something a little extra.
  • You've gotta start somewhere so, no not too big. I think I started out at 5.0 for a mile and increased it little by little. I agree with getting fitted for the right shoes, they help so much. Also, I've learned the hard way that when your body hurts, stop. I'm a swimmer, not a runner and have tendinitis in my shoulder,…
