I think it doesn't matter.

Ugh!

Stop trying diets and eat what you want. Figure out how many calories you should be eating and cut it by 500 daily, do some cardio exercise a couple times per week, and pick up heavy things, put them down, and pick them up again. Repeat. ;)

I am 5'3" and have a desk job. BMR calories for my GOAL weight are 1332. Unless you're in a coma, you aren't eating enough calories. I am eating 1800 calories per day with moderate exercise and losing weight.

Well done!

I stay around 100g.

Read "The Courage to Start" by John "The Penguin" Bingham. It changed my life.

I like the Fitbit Charge HR+.

Planning ahead. Shopping once per week for my next week's predesigned menu. Packing my breakfast, lunch, and snacks for work, and learning to like exercise.

Butter, cheese, nuts, eggs, meat, mayo, oils.

You don't have to stop drinking. Just stop getting drunk.

When I'm sick, I eat whatever I want.

Track your calories daily, and check your deficit on a weekly basis.

You don't get to a point where you need to lose 75 pounds from eating out "too much" "recently." If you truly are 75 pounds over weight and now, all of a sudden, you're having trouble eating more than 800 calories per day, I'd consult a physician.

This time of year, I make a huge pot of soup on Sunday for dinner and then bring soup for lunch all week. This week's soup was tomato spinach tortellini.

I don't care what anyone wears. Not my body, not my business.

Ugh. Eat real food!

The only thing that helped me (before I had a hysterectomy) was losing weight. Low carb is helpful for PCOS as well.

It's unlikely it has anything to do with sodium. Lose weight, exercise, take your meds as prescribed, and see your doc every 90 days or so until he/she gets the dosage correct for you.

I've wondered the same. I'm afraid of the double counting so, I leave my phone behind when I run and bring my iPod instead. But I'd prefer to bring my phone :)

You don't have to have 8 glasses of water per day.

Be careful with sugar free hard candies. Too much sugar alcohol can make you have intestinal distress (gas and diarrhea). Don't eat more than 1 serving and you should be OK.

Just count calories. MFP can guide you. The only thing you shouldn't eat (IMO) is trans fat. Unless you have food allergies or some other medical reason to eliminate some type of food, eat whatever you like. As long as you're meeting your calorie goal, you'll be fine.

Addiction and compulsion are not the same thing. Sugar is not a stimulant. You don't need to limit sugar/carbs in your diet unless you're diabetic/pre-diabetic. The only other reason to limit or eliminate "sugar carbs" is if you can't control yourself. And you can. You need to learn portion control and how to stay within…

You need to do some research on salt and blood pressure (myth) and saturated fats and heart disease (myth). Sugar isn't the devil. You need to get over that too...unless, of course, you are pre-diabetic or diabetic. 1/2 cup of Breyers vanilla ice cream is a great snack, fairly low cal, nice dose of calcium, and some…

Because the weight was gained gradually. I've lost 44 lbs so far. If I pick up a 40 lb bag of dog food, I can't believe I used to carry that around all the time. But if I gained back the 44 lbs over a period of time, it wouldn't feel like as much of a load. Make sense?

Eat at a calorie deficit. Pick up heavy things and put them down again. Repeat.
