I started running 10 months ago with a couch to 5k program. Follow the advices in the quoted text. Especially do not do too much, too soon or too fast.

If the glucose level in your blood is falling the bodys stress response will counteract that. Stress symptoms = symptoms you see with mild hypoglycemia. But as Steve says you'll not get real hypoglycemia unless you have to much insulin in your blood (insulin injection or a medical condition).

This will help you to loose weight and to stay healthy. This is something you can do for years.... The diets you mention is not something many people can do long- term.
