There used to be a restaurant in Buckhead (an expenisve 'burb of Atlanta) called "The RoseHedge". I had a filet mignon on a bed of garlic mashed potatoes and sauteed spinach, a very nice glass of Cabernet, and good company (my wife and a product rep who was paying for the meal). Man, that was a good meal.

there's at least 3 formulas used to calculate BMR (probably more), as evidenced by the different calorie results you got. But, they aren't that far apart, and I would just use either the middle one, or an average.

use the calculator to get you BMR....add something for your daily activities....things like walking from the car to the office/store/whatever, doing laundry, buyung groceries, etc....all the mundane stuff we all have to do. yes, you willl gain at least 10lbs in 10days coming to America. All we have to eat here is donuts and cupcakes....salads have been banned, and anything remotely resembling lean protein gets sent to mexico and canada.
