Good Advice^ It does come off slow and you have ups and downs. I follow a low carb diet and have struggled to find my path. Dont get discourage you can do this!

Welcome :) It's a tough rough but this is a good group!

Thanks! I didn't even think about using the lettce for the tacos.

Not necessarily. I was eating a lot or protein bars that were high protein but not necessarily Gluten free. Going gluten free and a more clean eating diet with a focus on protein has helped my digestive issues tremendously. There are a lot of options out there for breads/ wraps/ pita's such as the Josephs brand that have…

Start now, clean slate. You can do this! It's not easy, the hardest part of eating bad is detoxing to eating healthy again. It may take a few days of struggling and fighting those cravings but it will get easier. One of my favorite quotes is " just because you trip down a step in the staircase doesn't mean you should just…

Sometimes your body needs that to kick you back into shape. One slip up isn't going to make that much of a difference. Shrug it off and move on:)

I use a HRM to measure what I burn during my workouts. Depends on the exercise I can burn anywhere from 600 to 1000 in a 75 min workout.

Check out the Julian Michaels DVDs. The 30 day shred or banish fat are awseome for using your own body weight... I'm not going to lie it is TOUGH!! But the more you do it the better you get! The first time I did one I couldn't make it through the session. You can watch some of them on youtube to give you an idea.

Higher a house cleaner:) Best decision I have made! Even if you can't exercise on lunch in the gym just a short walk will help some!

Has anyone ever checked out the Fiber Gourmet line of pasta and crackers ?

AMAZING JOB WTG!!!

Thanks! Jen I will check Pinterest too!

That 1400 doesn't take into account your exercise calories. Like nooblet86 said the first few weeks are the hardest of any diet change but the longer you do it the more second nature it becomes.

Try the Joseph's pita wraps or flatbreads! Great low carb, high protein.

Love this !! awesome advice:)

Thanks everyone!!

Maybe your eating the wrong types of foods.. Have you tried something more high protein?

I would say it's actually failry common with PCOS to have issues like this. I would definately see your doctor just to make sure there isn't an underlying issue. There are several Forums/groups about PCOS on here that might help you. Sometimes your body can adjust to the BC you are on and they may to change your BC or up…

Thanks! No I haven't been but I'm going to start eating back some of them:)

Meaning I eat around 1340 a day and my HRM says for both exercise and general lviing that I burn around 2000 (just from say 6 AM to about 7 PM). I don't wear it at night. I usually burn 600+ in my workouts plus around 200+ calories in walking laps around our building on break (2 miles).

Thank you all:) I know its one of those things that just depends. I've been upping my excercise routine but not my food intake. Based on my heart rate mopnitor and food logged I'm eating less than I burn in a day. Just trying to get through the plateau nad make sure I do things the right way:)

Congrats!! You look fantastic! WTG!!!

Your struggle sounds very familiar. I have been dealing with PCOS and endometriosis since 2003 and it’s been a very emotional and physical journey. In December I got the Mirena IUD. I had mixed feelings about it at first but I think it’s helping. My moods are definitely more consistent , the only side affect that has been…

I have both PCOS and Endometrosis plus being overweight didn't help. I had to do my own research and found a doctor that understood those things. I used clomid and a shot to get prego and have my son. It was a very stressful and emotional journey but well worth it. My husband was very supportive but I dont think he…

Thanks for sharing! I'm trying to add in more exercise even if it's walking for a little bit on breaks at work!
