I record my weight every 10 days. This allows me for the slight fluctuation from day to day.

I have also dropped my resting heart rate to 60. I can wear shorts I haven't worn in six years. My blood pressure is completely normal(was borderline hypertensive) and my asthma is GONE!!!!! I threw my inhalers in the trash about three months ago.

Yes, I increased my calories to 1400, I was doing 1200 previously and then had a few overindulgent days to shock my system. (I went on advice from Tamtastic). It worked so now it has given me that extra incentive I needed. That's why I love MFP, so much support and good advice!

If you are going to follow a low fat diet and watch your overall calorie intake then you don't need a diet pill or gimmick. The weight will come off the old fashioned way!

I have to agree, MFP is more accurate because you are counting exact calories and can track your protein, fat, and carb intake which is just as important. Also, almost everything has a nutrition label whereas WW points are not on every label..

My oldest goes off to kindergarten as well this fall. He is most excited about riding the bus with all his friends. I will still have my two year old "devil" at home, I have another year before he can go off to preschool so I can have a few hours of freedom!!:laugh: :laugh:

Thanks tam, that makes sense about the calories, maybe I will up that for now and see if that works. Obviously it works for you so I will give it a try. I have the same thinking as you, want to be toned looking all over. I will have to wait and see about my final number as well.

I see we have very similar goals. I would like to get to 140lbs, currently I'm 167 and 5'8" How tall are you? Also, what do you have your calorie intake set at now, trying to break this plateau and need some advice. I was at 1200 plus my exercise calories, i switched it to 1280 base calories(1 1/2lbs/wk according to MFP)…

I crave pizza from a certain restaurant (Buddy's) around here. Good thing is that it is about a 40 minute drive so i don't go. Haven't had that I think since before Christmas when I started this lifestyle change. I think I will have to visit there for a cheat meal soon!:laugh: :laugh:

Yes, milestones are great, I look at mine in 10lb increments. I recently hit 50lbs so that was exciting!!
