Question to you gardeners: Can printed…

Feb 16 The next time someone does something you appreciate, let them know. Joe fixing reading lamp, bringing down and putting things up in cabinets that are out of my reach. Strolled with Joe and the dogs to the mailbox again yesterday morning. Two days in a row! Less windy, still chill, more pleasant, Joe was waiting for…

Feb 15 if you are waiting in line today, let someone go ahead of you. Do it all the time especially for moms with kids. I’m not in that big a hurry and am more comfortable with the little ones on their way out rather than behind me in line  Lovely stroll with Joe and the dogs to the mailbox though the breeze was B R…

Feb 14 Express creativity by creating art or cooking a new meal. Something for Joe or T or the dance party tonight? Or maybe my creativity lies in district minutes and playing with spreadsheets ;) Kylia a case of soda and 10 bags of groceries into a Miata trunk? That wasn’t creative packing, that was opening a door into…

Feb 11 Make twice as much for dinner and either invite a guest or deliver meal to a friend. Not today, unless veg dip and prep for tomorrow’s fellowship counts. Really should think of a good meal to bring to R, D & W. Machka that “our minds were not designed for…” meme is why my phone is on silent most of the time ;) Kim…

Feb 9 Identify a role model who embodies perseverance and two ways to emulate them. Pastors wife: 1=show up, 2=smile. Joe has ultra sound and cat? CT? scan this morning for deviated septum, also low dose CT scan of lungs as former smoker. He’s seems to be positive about the tests, looking forward to treatment to ease his…

Feb 8: Consider and celebrate diversity today. The diverse blessings of man and woman. Don’t understand men (and some women :> ), but grateful for their different gifts. Running out of steam on this month’s list. Not resonating or inspiring that Aha! Is it more challenging, making me think? Am I just getting lazy? ;) Jam…

Feb 7: Consider a current struggle, write down two thoughts that bring comfort. Decision not to run for re-election to the fire district board. 1.Either someone will step up, or 2. It may be time to merge the district with the nearby town. So be it. Katla sorry to hear about DH’s foot issue. Can be so very painful. Hope…

Feb 6 Start a conversation with someone new at line dance class. Welcome @anneu53 from Oz and @lalapitts Lala in Tx. Well done on the Pilates! Need help with my "Listening..." homework. Would anyone share an example of when they really just needed to be heard, but others talked over them or snowed them with advice.? Thanks! Lighter, lovelies! Barbara, the Southern Oregon Coastie AHMOD 2023: Be of good cheer. February: Move more, fuel better, live NOW.

Happy February! Thank you Barbie for the fresh start. the “Dear past…” meme And whoever it was who gave us the “different tables” analogy, was it Karen in VA or Lanette or? Monthly average wt down from 137.7 to 136.2, best change in a long while. NOT focusing on <110 goal weight, rejoicing at leaving the 140s behind…

Happy Birthday Sue in WA! Welcome @Jenni4W. Oh boy have I struggled to incorporate fitness into my lifestyle. What’s helped me has been finding activities I like (line dancing, dog walking) and linking my must-do-Physical Therapy exercises to something I do every morning (after weigh-in, before readings). Keep trying…

Welcome @cravensunshine71 ! Most of us don’t do the “friend” thing but support each other here on this thread. Lisa sure hope the weather doesn’t impede your traveling to the test. Kylia, Ah, thanks for the explanation. That makes sense. Debbie maltitol and other non-sugar sweeteners do the same thing to me  Ginny…

Yippee! For the first time in decades my BMI was below 27 today. Started MFP in 2008 at ~165 lbs, plateaued in the mid 140s for years, last summer started to see marginal improvements, down to 133.4 this morning. Hoping tomorrow’s monthly average will show improvement over December. Made >7K step goal yesterday too, Yay…

Machka, yup, not the fly strips that came to my mind ;) Heather ((hugs)) Kelly sorry finances mean you won’t be seeing the grands this spring or summer, but bravo to them for their preparations to move close to you in 2025. Welcome back @Brigit42! Sue well done on the weight AND being able to stay off the statins. Safe travels. Beth sorry your son and DH let Cecil down on the training. Barbie what brand of rain coat/jacket do you use? My decades old LLBean pink slicker (in profile pic) now leaks at the seams despite re-treating with Granger’s, and my less old Lands End rain jacket has stains that won’t come out. Allie pics of Alfie are every bit as heart lifting as pics of Myles. Thank you! Beth SMH at…
