  • You can find some nice herbals teas, and low fat hot chocolate drinks. Don't deprive yourself of your cappuccinos but keep it all in moderation. you could also try adding some Crystal Lite or things like that to your water. Warm water is actually better for your digestion than ice cold water.
  • I shudder to think of all of the unnatural ingredients in there, so I definitely use butter! Sparingly, but the fats in that are much better than the crap in the processed spreads. Same goes for the sprays. Get yourself a special spray bottle, and use light oils in it. You can buy the spritzer bottle at kitchen stores.
  • I love yoga, just for the relaxation aspect of it. I am finding I'm becoming more flexible, which is a plus as well. Give it a try!
  • I'm in for the 5 pound loss this month!
  • While I'm sure that the product is good, I believe that the best way to be successful at not only losing weight, but maintaining that weight loss is to learn how to eat with regular, store bought foods, and eat the proper portions. Drinking shakes every day might get to be a little bit of a challenge (wouldn't you miss…
  • a fibre supplement can help you get more regular, and it also aids in cleansing out your colon.
  • How are you taking your B12? I take mine sublingually (dissolves under the tongue) I used to take injections, but that got expensive.
  • Congratulations! It's amazing the things that go away when we're in better health. I've noticed that my legs aren't as fatigued as they used to be, and maybe this is TMI, but I'm more regular too. ;) Keep up the great work!
  • Eat things high in fibre as well! The fibre fills you up, and leaves you feeling fuller longer. Choose whole wheat pastas, breads instead of the white processed varieties. You can do it!
  • That sounds delicious! I'm going to give it a try tomorrow. Cheers!
  • welcome!
  • Way to go! Visionalizing yourself thinner can actually help! Lots of support here on MFP Cheers!
  • I love skinny cow! No guilt there!
  • What's your twitter name?
  • I wouldn't eat right up to your exercise calories, because if you eat right up to the total, you will only be maintaining your weight, as opposed to losing. Having said that, eat your full daily calories, and if you go a little over, don't beat yourself up over it if you're exercising. A little treat, or extra, once in a…
  • It's not even from the mouths of babes. My 17 year old son saw a picture of me in a bikini from 10 years ago, and he said to me "who's that?" It was then that I realized that my son only knew me as a fat mom.
  • Isn't that what Jenny Craig, and Nutrisystem do?
  • I'm here to help!
  • When I get feeling that way, I think back to why I wanted to change my lifestyle in the first place. What motivated you to start your journey? Has anything changed since then? Were you goals too ambitious when you started? We all go through blah phases when we feel like giving up, but you're here on MFP asking for support,…
  • congratulations on doing so well! Don't forget that as you exercise you are going to tone up, which doesn't always translate to weight loss on the scale. Personally, I look at the way my clothes fit (or don't as I get smaller), as opposed to what the scale says, although I do really enjoy watching the numbers go down. Keep…
  • Hi there neighbour! I just joined this site, and live in Oakville! Small world! I think it would be great to get a group together and support and encourage each other! Please feel free to friend me on this site! Cheers
  • YES! Definitely try it! If you're feeling self-conscious or shy, take a friend, you'll have a great laugh together. I did my first Zumba class yesterday, and I couldn't help smiling the whole way through! Great energy, and great music. We even danced to a Bollywood Rap song, which was fantastic! Who knew?
  • thanks! I've just send you a friend request. That's very exciting that you've got your family on board. I have the support of my son, who fortunately doesn't need to lose any weight, although he will definitely benefit by the healthy choices we are now making in our house. My daughter is away at university, and I'm hoping…
