I think it's very similar in terms of impact however I have not (yet) completed RI30. I am starting week 2 of it today. Try to see if youtube has a sample of what week 1 looks like to see how it compares possibly?

Are any of Jillian Micheal's dvds too high impact? I've not done insanity (yet!) so I'm not sure how they compare at all. But, I really loved doing 30 day shred and saw awesome results on the scale & in inches lost. I'm doing Ripped in 30 right now & am liking it, too. If her dvds are ok for you, I'd check them out!

I don't usually do anything different. But when I have more sleep, I do notice a difference in the scale (for the better!). Getting enough sleep is supposed to really help aid in weightloss. Atleast that's what I've heard. It does seem to be the case for me.

I had a similar starting weight & height (different body type though-it's crazy how much everyone is different at the same weight & heights!) and it's really inspiring too see your progress pictures! Awesome job!

I'm in the process of increasing mine, too. I'm doing mine slowly and my first increase was 100 calories. I'm thinking of doing another increase in February. (So, that'll be close to a month span or a little under.)

I will often get one taco (no cheese with lettuce, tomatoe, salsa) and then eat a side salad and use salsa as the dressing. And, limit the chips. They can be addicting when you're chatting with friends. :)
