I keep an old shaker at work and fill that 4 times a day. It holds 600ml of liquid, and I fill it past that, so I take in about 2.5l a day of water, before I even get home for training. That's another shaker of water there. Couple all of that with the various other drinks during the day and I'd be looking at over 4litres a…

Most of my weight lifting training also involves running for cardio. I tend to do anywhere from 5-20 minutes of cardio (usually running), then do the weight training, then finish with either HIIT running, or normal jogging again for another 5-20 minutes. The amount of time running depends on the day and what lifting I'm…

Just reply with, "Do you just tell others, or would you ever dare to practice what you preach?"

For the record, I'm 31, single, no kids. I don't feel like I'm missing anything, but if the right person were to come along, I'd consider it a bonus. I like yoovie. She says it as it is, with far more experience than all the 18-20 years olds who have kids and trouble with their relationships these days. Fancy a date?…

You look stunning in both, I'm honest. However, the new haircut wins, just because it's a new look and it's always good to switch things up. It suits your new shape too. If you don't get looks from guys with that haircut, they're dead inside. :)

You guys worry me. :)

Personally, I take some whey protein mixed in with some milk and a little L Tyrosine about 30 minutes before starting. Since doing so, I've managed to push harder during training (although I couldn't tell you if that's the Whey, the milk, the l tyrosine, or all of them!). It works though! I think something light and quick…

For me it's 2.5litres on rest days, 3.5litres on training days.

Quoted for truth! Two bananas, 20-30 minutes before you start.

If I want something sweet, I'll eat it. No point denying them. I just make sure it's in moderation, within my calories and within my macros. Simples! :)

Your GP is not qualified enough to simply say that and leave you to it. Ask for a referral to a nutrionist or dietician.

I have no idea, but it's hilarious

I can never stop laughing at this one. Type in "Tug Toner" into Google, and prepare to laugh your *kitten* off :)

I don't get why women need a different size system from the rest of world. What's wrong with inches/centimetres/etc? :)

Woop, another 30DSer! :) Added! Welcome to MFP!

Careful; sounds like common sense. ;)

If it's a continual low-level pain, you're probably suffering from DOMS if you've started training muscles intensely that haven't had a proper workout before. It passes after a few days as the body reacts. It's normal. If the muscles are well trained already, then it is worth giving a full day's rest or two before going…

She speaks the truth. <3 Lect :)

This thread has pretty much all the reasons I quit my gym and built my own in my garage. Much better now. No distractions or irritations. :)

I take Omega 3 tablets, but the best source of Omega 3 you can get is Krill Oil. Either through tablets, or by eating the Krill themselves. Personally, I don't like fish, so I take the tablets. :)

I've only been here a month or so myself. Even in that short time, I've only met a couple of other guys here. In terms of narcissism, it's not just guys, I've found. Everyone wants to look good, but some people take it way further, feeling they don't even owe common courtesy to others. It's a shame. For me, I have a lot of…

Needles. I genuinely have a violent, instinctual reaction when I am confronted by them. I honestly can't stand to think there might be a day I may need to go to hospital and they come at me with a needle. I'll tear them apart before they put it in my arm!

BMI is the biggest waste of time ever. According to that, most rugby players are unfit and need to lose weight. Just use the better measurements like BFP and the like.

I do the same already. I do street dance, but still want to monitor my calorific burn, so I put the watch in a zipped pocket. Works fine.

Might want to recheck yours if that's the case. ;) As for me, I'm on 40/35/25 at the moment, but I can't rest on a set amount for too long it seems, as I'm constantly trying to adjust it to a better split for lean muscle. I just can't decide :(

MyProtein is the company I use for all my supplements. Total Milk and Whey for night-time protein. Impact Whey for pre/post workout protein.

Two slices of brown wholegrain bread and about 40-50g of pure peanut butter. I have that at 6.30am, and it keeps me full until lunch every time.
