I'm also a barefoot workout girl..I hate shoes & wear flip flops all the time. They say shoes give you the support but hey I've been exercising this way (indoors only) for years. I think you should go with whatever is comfortable for you.

So true about the metabolism..I am in my 50's & its sooooo sloooow..lol I have to exercise 5-6 times a week to lose any real weight & then keep it up to keep it off. I too have battled with my weight for as long as I can remember...such a pain!!

I agree with the others...log your food everyday so that you can see what is going into your mouth. Don't worry too much about what the scale says & I hope your not weighing yourself everyday because that will only discourage you,once a week is fine. If your clothes are looser than your losing maybe not pounds but…

That was confusing to me too as I am a newbie on here too but after reading some of these posts I get it now. Still seems a little weird to eat more calories after exercising but I'll go with it & see what happens to my body. Good luck to you!

Keeping motivated is hard at times but just let me say "don't be so hard on yourself". When you "fall off the wagon" just get right back on & start all over. We all fail at times its just a matter if we want to stay & have a pity party or choose to go on to make ourselves better. I love chinese too so go ahead & have it…

I'm having a rice & chicken burrito w/salsa,no cheese. It's leftover's from last nights dinner. Since lunch is my main meal at this point I can have 2 & still have plenty enough calories left for dinner. Everybody's meals sounded so good!!

I personally wouldn't but I guess it depends on how much you want to lose & how fast. Just consider it extra exercise :)

I just started on here too. I am 5'3" started at 181 & it has me at 1390 calories for the day. I have lost 3lbs so far. Oh & I'm 52.
