full time nursing student and mom- trust me... that's a job!

thank you :) I did lots of cardio on the elliptical to burn the fat off my belly (and elsewhere) and then followed up with sit ups and strength training on our bowflex. The key for me was the strength training. I think it really helped me strengthen my core, and therefore my abs.

I think I've successfully lost it, though I do still have some loose skin. I've had five kids- all five c-sections. I gained 70+ lbs with my first and about 40-50 with the others though I was able to lose most of it after their birth. I watch what I eat and exercise and I'm not afraid to wear a bikini :)

they fade but will never go away.

 OMG I literally just spit my popcorn out of my mouth laughing at that! LMAO!!! I eat popcorn daily- at least once, if not twice. I pop the kroger brand 94% fat free kind. The whole bag is only 75 calories and soooo good!

I did tons of cardio- my fave is the elliptical. I also do weight training. That's important because it will help you burn calories after you are finished working out. As far as foods, I tried to make sure I ate lots of steamed veggies and lean meats and fish. I rarely cheat but if I do, I exercise so I don't feel guilty!…

I've had five kids- all c-sections and also had the belly flab. I still have some but I'm back in my size 0/1's. Now granted, my belly will never look like it did pre-babies, but you gotta take the good with the bad. Mine isn't bad enough to not wear a two piece at the beach this summer! :) My pics are in my profile. It…

I started at a size 8 and now I'm a size 0/1

this is hilarious! You seem like a nice guy that has her feelings in mind. Hopefully she will understand!

thanks. I know, for most 135 is goal weight but since I'm so short, it looks like so much more.

I'm an apple shape. I only gain (for the most part) in my belly and back. I've lost 32 lbs and it shows in my middle. I'm 5'1.5" tall and now weigh 103. I started about 135. lol... thanks for posting it. I couldn't get it to work.

marking my spot so I can make this for hubbs

Anti-depressants do make you gain weight. They mess with your hypothalamus that controls your hunger/thirst cycles. I was on paxil and gained 40 lbs in three months once. Unfortunately, weight gain is one of the side effects from certain medicines. You just have to weigh the benefits versus the side effects and see if it's…

bikinis or thongs if I'm wearing leggings and don't want a panty line. Boxers for him! I despise tighty whities!

yep. I feel your pain!

way to go lady!! :)

all of my pics are current!

First of all, do NOT diet while pregnant. Make sure you eat healthy foods! As long as you eat a well balanced diet and not a highly fatty/processed one, you will only gain the recommended weight and it will come off easily afterward. Oh ... and congrats! Babies are a blessing! Especially after TTC for a long time. :)

I'm finishing my last electives and am waiting to take my nursing entrance exam later this month. I'm so nervous! I've busted my *kitten* to get a 4.0 but the nursing program here is so competitive so I'm still not assured a spot!

I will not burn less than 850 at every workout, but my newest goal is to hit 1000 every time :)

I cannot stand gauges. My oldest daughter did that when she was 18 and it drove me insane. She finally took them out thank God but now her holes can't hold regular earrings. I have my ears pierced normally. Nothing else though. I'd love to do a nose ring with a tiny diamond stud but I'm not sure I could wear it at the…

I am! I'll be 39 this year. By the time I hit my big 4-0 on July 4th, 2013, I wanna be rocking some major muscles and a flat tummy!
-
I've decreased mine from 34% to 27% in just two months by lots of cardio and lifting weights.
-
I'm 5'1 3/4" tall. I started at 135 and am now 115. My goal is somewhere around 105, but I'm mostly going for body fat % and tone- not so much actual weight.

my guess is she just bought something expensive for herself and hasn't told you yet. She's buttering you up for the biggie! LOL

I like it but I have to mix it in things, I can't just eat it straight, say in a peanut butter sandwich. I did that once and gagged! LOL

“The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds. And that's what you've given me. That's what I'd hoped to give you forever” ― Nicholas Sparks “We fell in love, despite our differences, and once we did, something rare and beautiful…

I agree with the fiber one brownies! They are so good and only 90 calories. They also have fiber one bars for 90 calories that come in chocolate/peanut butter and also the chocolate pretzel ones are yummy! Fat free jello chocolate pudding is good too for only 60 calories.
