I know the app definitely uses data, maybe not from using the gps I could be wrong on that but it uses data. If the thing you put on the shoe doesn't connect to the phone until I get home where I have wifi instead of while I am out using my data that is what I am trying to figure out but they don't really explain how it…

I have had mine since April and love it. Just make sure you heed their warning about not wearing lotions, sun screen, and bug spray on the arm you wear it on! I very rarely did but forgot a couple times and it caused small cracks and a reddish discoloration on the side that touches my skin :(. I had to send it back and…

When you use the app it uses my phones gps to track my run thus using my data. I am trying to find out how the tracker you attach to the shoe works, if it will track my run then upload the info to my phone when I am back home and have wifi, therefore not using my cell phones data plan? Any one know?

It gives you the calories you burn all day not just exercise so that is why the number looks so big. The added calories before you wore it were an estimate for the day, as you sync it through the day it will adjust them to actual numbers. Also you may be more active than you think, I know I was. After a few weeks I changed…

DON'T KEEP SCORE! Whether it is what you do and they don't , what you think they should do, what you think you do that they don't appreciate, that they messed up in some way, that you messed up in some way Keeping score makes everyone miserable and causes you to hold onto negative feelings, just dont do it!!!

You can do it! It does take time to build up and I also feel great when I am done. When it's time to bump up my length of time running, for me it worked better if I did it near the end of my run not the beginning. I think it is because I am more warmed up later in my workout and I say to myself " just this last push and…

That's the bra I have!

They are meant to keep them from bouncing. With DDs myself I feel your pain, I recently bought my first sports bra, it is Under Armour. It had cup and band size options which not all sports bras have. I love it, I got it at D1cks sporting goods, it was about $50 and worth every penny. It sounds like the one you bought…

Thank you I just want people who maybe get discouraged seeing what already fit people are doing, to see that they can start at their own pace and build. They do not have to run a mile from day one. I think sometimes we forget you gotta crawl before you walk, and defeat ourselves by expecting to be great immediately. Start…

Food ie calories are like gas for your body, the more you run your car the more gas you need to keep it running.

I started just walking and continually increased as I went. Till I could run a little and just did a little more when I could till I got to this point.

I try to do at least three times a week upto five days depending how busy I am. I usually have two rest days. three on, one off, two on, one off. But if my on day is crazy and I don't get to it I will go a different day. Thank you every one, I was very excited that I did it wasn't sure if I could

It's my first time running a mile without stopping and the shortest time it has taken me to do four miles. I have been doing intervals for a few. Weeks.

I like exercising alone also. It's my only me time!

I started at 293 lbs I made my goal 200 lbs any more than that seemed a long way off. The first twenty five fell off so I lowered my goal to 175lbs. The next twenty five fell off and I lowered my goal to 150lbs. It is talking longer now because I have less to lose but I am ok with that, I want to lose fat and keep it off…

I am fat have been my whole life and I totally agree with you op. I am now working to lose my weight because I choose to. I have great self esteem always have. When ever anyone called me fat as a teen my response was always the same , " i own a mirror, could you tell me something I don't know?". Always shut them right up…

Very true! Thank you OP for posting and thank you who ever resurfaced this!

Completely normal I have fluctuated as much as 7 lbs in a day. Particularly if I have an exercise day and a high sodium day on the same day ;).

Just make sure you still check the info, sometimes it is wrong!

I don't comment on food diaries, I feel we all have different goals and priorities. I try to keep my intake around 1700 minimum and if I am hungry up to 2200 depending on the day. My net can at times be too low for a variety of reasons one being my daily activity varies greatly and some days such as weekends I eat less…

When ever it fits into my schedule, usually at night around 7 pm right now. When school was in session I had a break between my 2 shifts which gave me enough time to go home run 1.75 miles, shower and go back to work so I did. On the weekends my gym closes at 7 pm so I go around 2 pm. I get more exercise in this way than…

My 78 lb loss says yes you can eat what you want as long as you stay within your calorie goal. That is not to say I have made no changes but I have not eliminated anything either and you must weigh and measure your food, don't guesstimate
