On long run days 3-4 miles I have eggo low fat waffles with peanut butter about 1-1.5 hrs. before. I've tried different things ie; protein shake, cereal, fruit, just coffee but this seems to work the best for me. I'm working up to do a 10k, I haven't been running all that long.

It is a great way to loose if you use it. Be honest with your logs and you will see where you need to make improvements. Find a group or two to join with like minded people. I started with a 10lb and worked on form. Just moved to a 15lb and going to get a 20lb soon. Switching from the 10 to 15 I can tell a big difference in the way the moves feel. The swing is much more intense and wears me out.

Ok I'm going to make a suggestion.....join a group or two. I'm in two groups one for people with thyroid problems and one that we just have fun and encourage each other. Find ones with the same interest you have. It helps to have people you come to know and can talk to.

Don't kock yourself, everyone slips. I went out and had the Red Lobster Endless Shrimp Feast. Not something I should of done but I enjoyed it. Got right back on my program the next day.

UMMMM with pine nuts is my fav. Dip carrotts, cucumbers, celery and wassa crackers in it. Makes a great light lunch. Going to try the red bell pepper now that sounds yummy.

Mine was being sensitive to cold. Would take super hot showers and wrap up in a blanket every night. That has gotten better. Now it's muscle pains and weakness.

I had to put my foot down. He didn't want to switch me but I convinced him to write the script. Yes I think it helped me. I feel so much better.
