I have a smoothie most mornings. I use spinach, frozen fruit, a bulk fiber (helps keep you full and regular :), almond milk and either a raw egg or spoon full of nut butter. I quit using protein powders, they were expensive. I raise my own chickens so my eggs are super healthy.

I'm using unpeeled apples with no problem. I found you need to put the ingredients in the order recommended.

Try this one for breakfast. handful of spinach 1/2 banana 1/2 orange 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder 1 tbs chia seeds almond milk Yummy! I picked up some kiwi fruit, going to try to whip up something with them.

Glad I found this. My problem is craft beer, love it. Saturday we go out and eat most weekends and that includes beer with lunch most times. Can't stop at one so it's a stop by the pub on the way home for a couple more. Then that continues on thru the night. Sunday I try to drink lots of water to flush my system out.

I work out at home too. For under $70 I bought a bench and 100lb barbell set from Walmart. I've added a squat rack, that my hubby bought me for my birthday. Also a few extra weight plates and a 13lb bar. It's set up in my spare bedroom.

I make 15 bean soup in mine all the time, comes out great. Also slow cook sauces or throw in a pork roast and make shredded pork. You can cook a whole chicken and it just falls off the bone. Take any cheap cut of beef and slow cook it tender. Nice to have supper ready when you get home.

When I want pizza I go have pizza. We just get a 12", half it with my hubby, instead of the large size and that is plenty. I cut my calories to fit it in.

Try kettlebells. They are challenging and give you a heck of a workout.

I'm just starting to train for a 10k. My fastest 5k time has been around 40mins. By doing longer distance I hope to increase my speed. My next 5k will be in Sept. So lets train together.

Lots of gluten free cereals on the market today. I like the chex brand with almond milk.

PIZZA!!!! We usually have this on a Saturday for a late lunch. Then I'll eat light for dinner.

I love a good import beer and once in a while I indulge. Mostly I stick to wine with a dirty martini now and again. I don't go out to bars much but do enjoy a drink with my dinner. Just got to take them calories into account.

Beets, hummus, organic celery and these little angle sweet tomatoes, they are like candy.

Hummus with celery, carrots and sweet cherry tomatoes. Have this for lunch alot. Lots of crunch and fiber.

Always struggling and always will. I got out of some of my good habits over the holidays and gained back a few pounds. Had to kick myself to get out and get moving again. I'm with ya, holidays can be hard. Got rid of the last of the pumpkin desert today, nothing else left. So off to store to stock back up on the healthy stuff. New resolve to get up and get back moving. Just why can you pack it back on so much faster then you take it off?

I started running to loose weight and get in shape. Now I do it for those reasons and because I have learned to enjoy it. I try to run a 5k at lease every other month and want to do a 10k one day. When I started I couldn't even do the c25k program cause I couldn't run 1 minute. Now I can go 2 miles before a walk break.…

I'm lucky the people in my office admire what I have done. I bring my lunch and go outside to eat it. They never tease me or try to get me to join in. I give them more grief about the way they are eating. LOL
