How do you stay motivated?

I started myfitnesspal Jan 2012....Lost 87 pounds....I've gained 18 pounds back slowly over the last couple of months from not exercising....I'm a walker and since it's been cold I haven't been exercising....I've slowly been going back to some of my bad food habits and binge eating...what helps to stay motivated for the rest of your life besides remembering what got me here in the first place???? Anyone else struggling with the same issues????

Always struggling and always will. I got out of some of my good habits over the holidays and gained back a few pounds. Had to kick myself to get out and get moving again.
Now may sound corny but I print out motivational sayings and post them where I can see them. I also have changed my focus from the number on the scale to the number I'm wearing. I want to drop down another size by my next birthday in April.
I like to run so I buy new shoes or a new shirt. My latest buy was a GPS watch, I can record my progress on line and see how well I'm doing. I signed up for another 5k race in Feb. So now I have to train for it. This is just a few of things I do to keep me on track.0 -
It will be a lifetime struggle for most of us. One of the things I do to keep motivated is look at my "before" pictures". I've lost 70 lbs but I have at least 40 more to go. Being on MFP and keeping up with my friends also helps keep me motivated. As for walking it's not as much fun but you can do it in your house. I have a large family room and it takes 10 steps across so when I am watching tv I just walk back and forth. If you don't have enough room you can just walk in place. Again not as much fun but it will do until we can get back outside. Finally, if you don't have one already, invest in a Fitbit, or something like it, it tracks steps taken, calories burned, etc. I find I move a lot more.0
