New food you love!

One of my goals for living better is to eat better.
I'm eating alot more vegetables than ever before (my motto is half the plate must be green and steamed!)
I never ate Kale before starting this journey, but love it!
Mainly I eat it steam, every once in awhile will saute it.
What food you never ate before now you love!

Never had a parsnip before a year or so ago - now I LOVE them! Roasted with a little olive oil - so good!

Have you ever tried kale chips? You need to use just a little olive oil, but they are an AWESOME snack if youre trying to eat new veggies. For me, I tried them when I was trying to eat local. Local is harder when you are up north ;)

I love Kale chips. Really don't get those salty cravings (except from time to time near that time of the month). But when I do, fix a quick batch and season with cayenne pepper and pinch of salt. They are really spicy and yummy!

flaxseed. i had a bag in the pantry for months and never did more than sprinkle them on salads. then i tried eating them straight out of the bag like nuts or other seeds and discovered i love their nutty flavor.

My new favourite snack is celery sticks dipped in cashew nut butter, I've just had it for my mid morning snack, yum yum.

I love to make a ratatouille, healthy and goes with so many things. Also swede and carrot mash is delicious and a good substitute for mashed potato if you want to cut down.

Beets, hummus, organic celery and these little angle sweet tomatoes, they are like candy.
