  • You need sleep, that is when your body recovers and repairs itself. If you google sleep and exercise you will see some articles about sleeping even that extra hour will help you lose weight.
  • QUESTION: I am not following the meal plan but am eating about 1200-1400 calories a day. Does this make a difference?
  • Good luck. It's a great workout and so worth it!
  • When you stop, do you stop the dvd as well, or let that continue and pick up when you can? That's what I do and wanted to know how others do it. Also, what heart monitors is everyone using? Mine says I burn over 500 calories and I just can't believe that, so I always report less. I have two monitors. One wrist and one with…
  • New Port Richey here! Feel free to friend me.
  • Hi everyone! And Happy New year. I started Insanity yesterday (the 2nd). My muscles are sore, but I'm glad I did it. I had done it before in 2011 and saw great results, but then I got lazy. I am determined this time to not only get my weight off, but get my body into shape. My day off will be on Tuesdays, and I'm actually…
  • There are some great Pilate and yoga dvd's out there. I love pilates and find it is very good for flexibility
  • I've done both as well. I mix them up now. It's easier for me to balance my time that way. My problem is I don't know how many calories I burn when doing 30DS. Do you have a formula?
  • Congrats on doing Insanity. I did it back in 2011 and really got in shape. Than I went off course, I am planning on starting again, but not until next week. This week is crazy and I can't devote the time. I will be walking at least. I love Insanity. It's a real challenge. Has anyone done P90X?
  • That's what I have Carolmsb. I take synthroid as well. It's a real struggle for me. My whole life I was a size 4. Never dieted and my main food group was chocolate. Never thought about what I was eating. In 2007 I was diagnosed and it has been a battle. I think more mentally at first. I had no idea how to eat right and…
  • Hi there! Starting over as well, although this is my first time trying My Fitness Pal. I've done others and have done well, but I always go off it. Someone I work with lost a lot of weight with MFP, so I thought I would not only give it a try but get involved in the chats. This way I can have others hold me accountable. So…
