I absolutely experienced it. But yeah, there is the potential to just not be satisfied with your body. I'm well below what *my* goal weight was, but I'm still not satisfied. I'm nowhere near underweight at 5'5" and 136. I want to lose another 6-11 pounds but it's really hard at this point. I may have to just learn to be…

What research is there showing what and when we eat are important. Asking b/c I want to know!

Motivation wanes, no matter who you are. Discipline. You must have it. Life happens. You fall off, you get back on. Simple as that. I know it's not easy. BTDT.

I like Dymatize ISO 100. Choc PB and Orange Dreamsicle.

I have the same issue. Ive done the super expensive bras. No more. I love these. They are perfect. SYROKAN Women's High Impact... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MGR17P5?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I don’t use one but I go to a gym that has a guy who does it and he’s awesome. I just happen to train under another guy bc that’s how it worked out. If interested let me know and I’ll pm details so you can research him

I have one, but I'm going to sell it. It WAYYYYYYYYYYY overestimates my calories burned. I just bought an apple watch. Love it.

Salads w/ cheese, ham, turkey, chicken, bacon, sunflower seeds (any combination). Macadamia nuts. Individual packets of nut butters (I buy these for portion control b/c I have no self control around them). Deli meat - ham, turkey, chicken, roast beef - roll ups w/ pickles. Lily's chocolate bars. Taco salad. Stir fry.…

I don't do breakfast either. I never did eat soon after waking up and now I just stretch it a couple hours long. To answer your question, yes, if I eat breakfast I tend to eat more all day. No idea why.
-
Perfect! Thank you both! I thought I knew the answer but I wanted to be sure.

Maybe check out untuckit.com. I haven't checked them but they advertise that they have shirts meant to be untucked for ALL body sizes.

I actually did try something like this today. Basically just "changing" myself until I didn't feel pain walking. I'm sure anyone who saw me thought I was a loon. It feels extremely unnatural.
-
Thank you! This is a great idea!!!!!

I agree. Dutch chocolate for me.

I travel a LOT for work and this is my first trip since starting LC back in late November. I'm doing so well staying away from the carbs and I am super nervous too. I hate being stuck eating what is served and not having a choice. All the meals are super carb heavy! I don't want to go off plan!

I'm flying Monday, here's what am taking. Duke's short sausages, pepperoni stix, macadamia nuts, individual Justins almond butter packs and an almond peanut blend called Barney's butter. Mind you, I'm taking just a couple of these on the plane with me since it's a short flight, but I'm going to be gone all week so I'm…
-
Nuts, definitely. I have to portion them. For PB and almond butter, I buy the pre-portioned individual packs. I know they are more expensive, but that's what works for me. Yep, tortilla chips but I didn't have them very often in the past and still don't. And surprisingly, gum. Once I get started, I want to chew piece after…

Funny, this is kinda why I'm doing IF too. To see just how much I do eat, how many carbs, etc. The other reason is due to what baconslave said, I'm constantly preparing for a calorie/carb bomb. I don't want to get off track. I'm like you, I like rules and I like to know why. I don't do MCT oil and I haven't researched it.…
-
My totally non-scientific mind thinks consuming anything with calories breaks a fast. But, at the end of the day, what really matters for you is why you are fasting. If it's just for weight loss and things are going fine with your MCT oil, then have it! For me, this is all about trial and error.
-
I didn't think the fat bomb ingredients were too nefarious. I tried them and they are really good. There are 14 in a box, but yeah, 10 bucks at walmart.

Thank you! I took 1/2 tsp of salt as soon as I got up this morning and I'm feeling a lot better today. No dizzy or achy at this point. Is there a certain supplement you recommend outside of just salt?
-
I was thinking either orthostatic hypotension or hypoglycemia. I have had hypoglycemia instances in the past, but it's been several years. They included really bad shaking and me absolutely having to sit down and have some food. These current episodes, for lack of a better word, are not that extreme. Just the tunnel…

Thanks for your response. I did take some salt this morning and I didn't experience quite the dizziness I had yesterday. Also, I opened my eating window an hour early b/c I was hungry. Appreciate the feedback. Definitely not being stubborn, just trying to figure out if this is normal and what could be done to counter it.

MFP suggests 1200, but I'm eating between 1200-1500 each day. I think my calories are okay. I'm going to see how the electrolytes do and if things don't get better, then I will extend my eating window.
-
I will continue the salt. I did actually have extensive bloodwork done last Monday, and I'm just waiting on results. I'm currently doing 16:8, maybe I do need to bump it back a little.
-
Thank you so much for the reply. I wasn't necessarily waiting for my eating window for the salt, it just happened to be when I started researching and saw that lack of sodium may be the issue. I took some this morning, so we shall see. I should have the electrolytes tomorrow, so I'm hoping they will help as well.
-
Thanks for your replies. I was wondering if maybe it's hypoglycemia also, although I'm not diabetic. I'm fine as long as I'm sitting, but obviously, I can't sit forever. I did order electrolytes and they should be here tomorrow.
-
This is an awesome list. Thank you!
-
I couldn't do it. If I go too long between meals, I get shakey and ill!
-
I sure wouldn't force any extra food, if I weren't actually hungry. Your sleeve will stretch soon enough, and you don't want to have any bad habits started. A protein shake is a great way to get in some extra calories and protein to boot. I personally wouldn't worry about being under 1200 calories at this point in the game.
