I used to go on the treadmill but now i use an elliptical. I get such a better workout on the elliptical. I sweat like crazy and feel like i am working hard. I joined mfp aug 5th or 6th and have lost 15 lbs and have increased my speed and resistance level from 1 to 3 on the elliptical.

You need to be concerned about mercury levels in the fish. I don't think having canned fish everyday is a good idea or recommended. 2 -3 times a week is sufficient. That's what is suggested here in Canada.

I love giving motivation and receiving !! I tell everyone to take it day by day. Just do whatever you need to do to get through each day and dont worry about tomorrow!! Before you know it a few days will have flown by!!!

I am 44 and want to lose 70 lbs. I also just started. it is almost a week now. i hope i lost at least 3 lbs. I have an elliptical machine that i have used for most of the week. Just take it day by day. Don't worry about tomorrow. Seriously, just don't. If you say that to yourself everyday it makes it a bit easier!
