  • I was! I worked for almost 3 months before I saw any loss in weight or inches. Now I'm losing a pound a week. I was super frustrated and even bailed on the gym for a few days. Don't give up!
  • uh oh. I've started doing an hour on the elliptical, sometimes with a short stationary bike ride in between. On the elliptical I usually keep the resistance at 8 for 4-8 minute intervals. I know it's cardio but does that qualify as resistance training? Hmm. Hope I'm not shooting myself in the foot!

  • Thanks for responses! It seems to be close enough but I guess I'm trying to be as accurate as possible now cause I'm not losing inches :( Need to get back into my clothes! Budget doesn't allow for new ones haha. I think I'll try the HRM on the gym equipment until I can afford one of my own.
