  • It's funny, I've lost about 80lbs over the last year and a half. I went from a 40DDD to a 34F and they are more perky looking to me. Mom has lost about 200lbs over the last 5 years and hers look like flat pancakes. She's thinking about getting implants, but at 62 I really don't want her to have surgery to get boobs.
  • Although my lower half is smaller now, it is still the largest part of my body. My hips, butt, and thighs are huge to me. My hips measure in now at 41inches, but when I started they were 53inches. Sadly, I don't think there is way to pinpoint this area, just continue to do toning exercises and cardio.
  • 1 cup 0% fat plain Greek yogurt A scoop of vanilla protein powder 1/3 cup chopped strawberries 1/3 cup nut & raisins trail mix from The Fresh Market I love this mixture for myself. I like the crunch of the trail mix with the sweetness of the strawberries just does something to me.
  • I do it for protective styling, because it's quick & easy, and to look more professional in my job setting. In the States, we forget sometimes that words means different things in other countries, here "bl" usually refers to bra length. I have a mixture of 14-18 inches of hair right now. I don't have an issue with thins…
  • I've been natural for about 4 1/2 years, and haven't used heat in about a year. I have thick as hell 4a/4b mixture hair. It's just pass BL now, but I keep this stuff in a pony tail bun all the time. I've recently started thinking about cutting it to my shoulders, because I am so sick of it. I love my hair and I love the…
  • Experiencing a plateau is normal during weight-loss. When I have them, I sit down and re-evaluate what I'm doing. Sometimes, I have to increase my calorie intake because of how much exercise I'm doing. During my TOM, I always know that I'm going to plateau the week before it starts (which annoys me so bad). The longest…

  • I do P90X. I did my first round starting at 240lbs. I had to modify some moves, because I just couldn't do them. But, it was worth it to me because by the end I was down to 197lbs and building strong muscles to replace the fat.

  • I'm 5'5 and I was a solid 16. I have a big butt, so the waist didn't really fit, but the butt and thighs were a prefect fit. In tops, I was a L.
  • I would rather lose a little of both so that I even out, and all of my stomach!!! My reality is that although I've lost inches my butt looks bigger to me, I've gone from a DDD to a D, and I still have a stomach. At least my boobs still stick out further than my stomach.
  • I have this gorgeous sleeveless little black dress that I just love! I try in on once a month see the progress and I can't wait to wear it again.
  • I do a cheat meal once a week and I've been able to lose the lbs. The key is to find what really works for you and stick with it. Some people, like my best friend, can't handle cheat days. She always goes overboard, so she stopped doing them. When I have my cheat meal, I still eat within my calorie range and I still…
  • Sept. 2010, I weighed in at 240lbs and I am 5'5. I was border line everything!!! Now, I'm down to 165lbs and my goal is to lose at least 25-30 more lbs. My main focus now is building muscle, so I've been doing bulking/cutting cycles.
  • Hi guys!!! I miss you all!! These pass few weeks have been brutal but I love working under pressure. MFP and P90X is really changing my life. In the past, I would stress eat at times like these, but now I push play and workout my frustrations. I plan my meals ahead of time and I've learned to take time for ME. I surprised…
  • I have to try this. I've been trying to lower my sugar intake and most protein bars have to much sugar.
  • Hey guys. I'm working on a tough case right now, so I've been logging-in using my phone. I really wish we could look at the message board using the app, but we can't. I'm still getting up and working out at 6am. I am so happy that I was able to establish a workout schedule and forced myself to start preparing my foods…
  • Errr, I weighed in at 169 (TOM) and I am not happy about it, but it the TOM. NSV: Last Thursday, I dropped a dress size. I cried in that dressing room, but I was so happy!!!
  • I just wanted to do a quick check-in. All is well. I tried plyo yesterday in a vinyl sweatsuit and OMG!! I think I'll just stick to the leg bands, because I started to feel overheated about 35 minutes in. I had to pause and take off the suit. I'm still doing doubles and I finished B&B around 8:30pm, just in time to get…
  • Greeting! @ Ms Booker, my church anniversary was yesterday, so I completely understand. I was okay until I got to the mac & cheese and cake. @ Drew, it must be something in the water, lol. I had knee pain on Saturday and had to put on a knee wrap to make in through Kenpo X. Then I woke up this morning and my my right bicep…
  • I got in Kenpo X between the Michigan State vs Michigan game and the Georgia vs Vanderbilt game. I'm getting upset with the Georgia game, so I thought I'd do a drive-by check-in.
  • Just finished legs &back. I'm hitting the sack!!!!
  • I'm embarrassed to say that I did not do Plyo yesterday. So, I woke up at 5am to do it this morning followed by Cardio X. I will probably NOT do that again. I found myself cussing at Tony throughout Cardio X. I was exhausted when I got to work, but thank goodness for the recovery drink. With that said, my triceps have been…
  • WooHoo! 168.2 this week, I almost forgot to post. NSV: lost 1 inch. (.25 in hips, .5 in waist, and .25 on the right thigh).
  • If you can't exercise as much, you'll definitely have to pay attention to your caloric intake. The sodium could become a problem. I do eat some process foods. The only free day I really have is Sunday after church, and that's when I prepare meals for the week and grocery shop. The little munchkin loves going to the store…
  • It's FRIDAY!!! Although I'm loving the Doubles, I'm happy for the weekend and 2 days of just cardio. I can't remember who it was that recommended using leg weights with Cardio X, but THANK YOU!! I also use a leg band during Plyo that was recommended to me by a friend. I'm really feeling the workouts in my legs now. THANK…
  • Congrats on the weight lost so far. What has helped me is to make sure I log everything to get a realistic view of my eating habits. Let's just say the first couple of weeks were a real eye opener. The second thing is to find a exercise routine that fits you and your lifestyle. I started out walking, then I started using a…
  • Woke up this morning and did Cardio X at 6am. I was downstairs working it out and the 2 year old tripps me up because I had no idea she was behind me. I guess I woke her up this morning when I checked on her. Of course she has to have attention, so I stopped and went into "mommy mode." After breakfast and turning on Dora…
  • I had the same issue at first. My body eventually got use to it. I make sure to take with food and a full glass of water.
  • Woo hoo!! I love doing Doubles. I feel more energized and ready for the day. Drew, Jay, Mike523, roballesteros, and Sassy, you all are a true inspiration. I've decided to start adding extra cardio in like most you guys. I looked back at my beginning photos from round 1 and I was so angry at the pictures! I looked AWFUL!! I…
  • No changes for me this week.
  • Hey guys! Just checking in, my 2 year old has been sick all week. I was waking up at 6am to do my P90X so I'd be ready for her when she got up. It was a wonderful experience, because it made me realize how lazy I was being. I had convinced myself in the past that 6am was to early for me, but I was wrong! I hope everyone…
