People also walk out in front of buses, some live some die. But you wouldn't walk out in front of a bus on purpose would you? Sure, you can lose weight eating what you want if you stick to the calorie amount but eating too much sugar and processed food can cause you to store fat on your belly, which is bad for heart health.

Oh I can totally relate! Everyone has an opinion and it says more about what they think of themselves than anything else.

Hey, good on you!! You've come to the right place, this website is FANTASTIC!! I quit smoking about 5 years ago using the book Alan Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking. Have a look on Amazon.com you should be able to find it. It is an incredible book, I quit completely after reading it. Give it a bash, it is really hard to…

you call that a mini goal?! That's a humungus goal!! My mini goal is to do two more intense workouts this week. Good luck!!

some things are sacred - if you don't want to tell him then don't. Like using the toilet in front of your partner - there are just some things in life that another person doesn't need to see or hear about!

food is not the enemy!! Eat really healthy, unprocessed whole foods and enjoy them. You will be surprised how much you can eat and still lose weight. Unless you think you can survive on one meal a day for the rest of your life then don't do it. No short term solution will work forever and the weight will soon pile back on.

Hey. I've added you. Breastfeeding helps I've found but I hear ya, I've lost 10kg (22 lbs) but still have a gross flabby tummy! Apparently weight training helps, I've been doing weights for 2 weeks so I'll keep you posted... good luck!

Hi. Depends on how much you're breastfeeding. If your baby is two I imagine it's not that much so the calorie use will be less, probably more like 200 than 500. 500 would be more the amount you would allow for a newborn I think. I'm breastfeeding my 8 month old 3-4 times a day and I allow 300 calories, which seems to be…

Hi. Oh I've been there!! I think when you have only a little bit of weight to lose it's harder in a way, as your body is more reluctant to give up the flab and the weight loss is REALLY slow. Try eating protein and low GI carbs at every meal, 5 x a day. I've started eating like this over the last 6-8 months and it has…

Looks great. You have a fantastic tiny waist!

You might find this website useful too: http://www.the-gi-diet.org/lowgifoods/ Good luck!

Hey. Losing weight shouldn't make you feel sick unless you are cutting out one food group which you shouldn't do. Eat plenty, lose weight slowly, eat loads of fruit and veg (you can't eat too much) and drink lots of water. One thing you might like to try, which is what I do, is eating protein and low GI carbs at every…

what is bump? Is there some way of saving the post in MFP so you can read it later? Sorry, I'm new to this message-board lark. Thanks for posting by the way, it looks great.

I'm the same! I've lost 10kg and I'm getting pretty slim except for my tummy. My legs are getting thinner and thinner, yet my tummy is still over the 85cm that they say is safe for good health. My worry is that my legs will be chicken thin and I'll look like an apple on a stick! Still, not much I can do about my natural…

Hey I think you are really brave to post those photos and you look absolutely incredible!! You are amazing and an inspiration. Well done you!!

Amazon will have it. I've been looking at info on the internet about the 30 day shred but I'm too scared to try it! Would be interested to hear how you get on...

My goal is to be at my goal weight by my birthday, which is just before Christmas. Only 5kg to go, but damn, it's the hardest 5kg to lose! I'd really like some new clothes for Christmas... As for the running, ugh no thanks! Some people are meant to be runners, some aren't. Good luck!!

The good thing about vogels is that it doesn't have all the added sugar or preservatives that most other bread has. Just have one or two slices and enjoy it!

me too! Lower Hutt

ooh it's a great idea! If you buy the right clothes for your body shape it will still suit you. I have a Ben Sherman shirt that I used to wear that I just can't bear to get rid of, even though it's really old. If I fit into it again I will be so happy! Everyone talks about jeans but they can be dodgy as they stretch so…

Count me in! Although I've lost pretty much all my baby weight I am FLABBY! I have no muscle definition at all and feel like a total blob. Bought some handweights today and plan to start the attack tomorrow. Will keep you posted!

Hey good on you! I just wanted to tell you that I was diagnosed with high cholesterol so I gave up cheese. At first it was a bit hard - I thought a sandwich without cheese was a crime - but you quickly get used to it. Now when I eat cheese it tastes disgusting - just like fat! Cheese is a high fat cholesterol timebomb!…

Hi all I'm Monica, stay at home mum to a 2.5 yr old boy and 8 month old girl. It is FULL ON! I'm new to MFP, I managed to lose 9kg on my own since I had my baby but joined MFP to rev me up a bit more to get rid of the dreaded last 5kg or so. I really want to get fitter so that I can keep up with my children! At the end of…
