Yesterday I ran at 5:00 in 100 degree weather...TERRIBLE IDEA...I really struggled. I have also run in the snow at around 15 degrees...I prefer the cold weather running!

I know this seems silly, but sometimes losening your laces can help. Maybe you're tieing your shoes too tight. Have you been to a specialized running store? Take your old running shoes with you and explain your pain to them. They should be able to help you find a better match.

Congratulations! I am currently training for my first marathon, too! I changed my settings to a 50-25-25 diet. I am finding it SO difficult to get enough protein. Any pointers??
