I am keeping a log to figure this out myself, (an excel spreadsheet) I am loosing more than 1lb per week using MFP, which is what I am set to loose, but the calories for my fitbit are often 500-1000 calories more per day after exercise. I suggest you keep a LOG as well if you want to know the truth, Calories in vs calories…

You could just go for a drink or even a salad. I think ruby tuesday has a great salad bar. Stick with the salad items and away from the potatoe salads etc.

I love accountability partners. I will send you a friend request. I am 45, have lost about 35lbs in not quite 4 months and do both calorie restrictions and exercise. I am always looking for more positive people in my feed. I am currently 5'4" 141 lbs.

This is one reason why I just don't eat out... plus, the cook is probably giving you more than the suggested serving, so you can't even go by the web sites suggestions. I would eyeball your plate and add things individually.

I eat pretty cheap. I make mostly stir fry's with chicken breast which is $1.99 a pound and veggies...whatevers on sale. I have come to love cabbage which runs about .68 a pound. Down almost 5 lbs for Nov but nervous about adding it all back next week for Thanksgiving. Can't be rude and eat a salad when everyone put in so much effort.... suppose to be eating 1300 calories and one meal is 3000+. How does everyone else deal with that? What numbers are you trying to reach... I think protein is the hardest so I go for chicken, tofu, eggs, egg whites and a giant can of tuna (the whole can gets me 50grams) I currently do 40carbs/ 30 protein/30 fat It ends up to be quite a bit of protein when I work out..which is pretty much everyday.

The other day I had to sit on a hard wood floor and it felt harder than usual. NO PADDING!!! Since I normally sit in a chair, its not a huge problem. LOL

I put mine in my eggs with beans and spinach and tomatoes...I don't even notice it. I also eat it mixed in with my grilled chicken, but op is a vegetarian...so I guess that is for everyone else. Also MISO soup.

If you can't stand to look at the extra calories log the exercise and put in 0 calories burned...many people do that, or give yourself the calories you are gonna allow yourself to eat...I always use the notes portion to add remarks if I have altered something in my food or…

Some people and places should not be in business. If you cannot offer a competitive price or something special (like amazing customer service or advise) you have no business being in business. I don't feel bad at all for not supporting a poor business model.

Mine starts at 1400 and I eat my exercise calories which I log separately. WARNING: I eat pretty healthy so you might not like what you see, but it is has been great for my weight loss. I am 5'4 and currently 144 down from 176 in just over 3 months.

I just stopped eating what he cooked and ate. If you cook for him, still cook for him, just don't eat it. Though this isn't ideal for everyone it worked VERY WELL for me and the hubby likes the way I look now and no longer asks if I want his "fat" food.
