I absolutely gained muscle. I can't be all sciencey...but Dang...my arms are buff from doing strength training while losing 50+ pounds.
-
I love 21 day fix even more. No calories, no searching for the correct food item...just containers and the right amounts. Added things back in I had taken out like peanut butter and nuts.
-
I log every day... no matter what, good or bad. It happened and I'm accountable. I am almost to goal. I accept all friend requests. I love cross motivation and support. Not so much in love with to flashy photos of you, so if that's your plan...move along...all others SO WELCOME.

I sent you a friend request. You got to put yourself first. You can do this. My Fitness Pal can help. Welcome Home!

You will probably loose 3 pounds a week, even if you set if for less. Measure your food, move when you can. Eat food that is volumous but low in calories...lots of veggies. lean meats like chicken and tuna. Stay away from the junk. You can do this, you really can.

Goddess0921 you are on the right track. Only you can do it and only you can want it. Welcome to My Fitness Pal.

I LOVE THIS!!!! SO TRUE!

Yes, I am done with the coming back...just staying around this time. Sending you a friend request.

Your daily calories are yours alone. Put in your stats in MFP and the amount you want to lose, (or maintain) and start there, you can always adjust up or down to see what works.
-
Yes! that is the way! Put yourself 1st. Believe in yourself. Do it for yourself! I love that attitude.

You are doing great. The scale is not a great indicator of progress. Keep doing the right things and the weight will come off. Try adding some physical activity to your regiment. Diet is only part of the equation. Walking is a fine place to start.

If you were overweight once, you already know how to add calories. Continue to educate yourself on nutrition and find out about macros. Protein, Carbs and Fat. I used to just track calories but now that I know about these macros, I am feeling better than ever. Sending you a friend request.

I was the same as you. My highest weight almost 6 months ago was 176 at 5'4". I worked out everyday, mostly cardio. ONCE, I started logging my food intake the weight fell off. Log your food and you will see results if you keep your intake lower than your output. MFP works.
