  • I'm so sorry to hear all this. I can't imagine the wear and tear on your body, heart and soul. Hang in there and know that we are all pulling for you and hoping for a strong and better outcome for you. We are here if you need to talk or a shoulder to cry on.
  • Sorry I'm a little late to the party. But I wish everyone happy well wishes and a happy healthy pregnanacy in the near future. WIth me we did 4 rounds of clomid and 1 IUI and nothing from any of them. So now my husband and I are in an IVM study. It's like IVF. Anyways, last Tuesday we had a transfer of two embyos. I don't…
  • Hi All, So I wanted to give anyone an update of who is interested in IVM or has heard of it. IVM is supposed to be a less expensive then the IVF. I know more about it now because we did move forward and are currently in the process of doing the IVM. We are at the stage now where we are preparing my body for the transfer.…
  • Thanks for all your feedback and help everyone! The converstaion actually went well. There were lots of tears, just because it was hard for us to tell them what we have been going thru. They felt bad because we have been carring this burrden on our own with eachother and didn't share with them sooner. But we also know it…
  • Hey Queen. I was recently about 7-8 months ago with PCOS. But, I feel like what your doing now is what I did in the beginning. I had about 36 follicles on one side and 42 on another. I took Prometrium which helps me start my cycle and then I take Clomid. My first round was exactly like you have, where I didn't really have…
  • Thank you everyone for the wonderful and ideas or what has worked for you. I appreciate everyone's feed back and plan to look into a bunch of these things. It helps to know there is a community out there who is willing to help and give back for what they have learned to help others. I plan to do the same... as soon as I…
  • Thank you for this.. It does make it harder and it's hard when I do have friends to really relate to about it. I have some people on MFP that I can relate to. But I don't talk to them regularly. So, I need to figure out what will work best for me and stick with it.
  • Thank you for your support. I appreciate you very much and understanding more then you know.
  • Thank you for all the suggestions. I definatly have rocks at the house and bags
  • It's not freezing where I am. And the cold isn't that big of an issue. I do go on walks/runs because I love to be outside. It's just when it does get really cold I have a hard time breathing in the cold when I'm running. So I usually do walking then. And I could probably shut off my TV more often to get things done and…
  • WOW! Thank you so much for this. This will be helpful!!!
  • I never thought of going to goodwill to see if I can find anything, even if it's a weight i can use. I don't drink Starbucks or coffee at all. I don't really feel (at least I think) that I have a habbit that I do that could save me an extra $10.00 a week or so. :) Thank you for the encourgement!
  • Thank you very much for the encouragement and ideas.
  • I agree. I know I need to actually put in the work if I'm willing to ask for assistance and not make excuses. We are just financially strapped and wanted to see what MFP members used and worked for them. I am loving every idea from everyone!!!
  • I've never heard of kijiji
  • Dang, I would be stoked to find a gym that is $10.00 a month. I will have to see what I can find.
  • I'm trying my best to stick to my calories on MFP. I do have PCOS, which I was told that it makes it harder for me to lose weight. But I don't want to use that as an excuse.
  • There isn't really a university close to me. So, I'm unsure about a discounted rate thru them. I really can't afford much.. I wish I could go to the rec by my house because it's about 2 min's away from my house. I would have to look into the community friends who allow guests to use the fitness room.
  • Thank you Rybo! Is that what you used to get as fit as you are? Thanks Samantha. I didn't even think of YouTube. I guess my next step would be to figure out how to hook my computer up to my TV then.
  • I'm 27 and have close to 100 lbs to lose. I can use any support, motiviation that I can get. So please feel free to add me :). Thank you also for posting this.
  • Hi.. I have it as well :(. I was diagnosed just about 7 months ago. And I'm in the same boat as jesikabaker4u, we are ttc and we are doing things to be able to do so. And I know losing weight will increase our success chances. So, i'm trying really hard to do good and stay on track. There are a couple PCOS groups on here…
  • Well, I meet with the nurse on Friday, so I will let you know what kind of information I receive about this and be sure to share. We plan to be part of the study. This IVM method has only been around since 2008. And it gives you a better percentage then an IUI, and less then an IVF... so it falls inbetween. But I will let…
  • I think she looks awesome and beautiful! I would love to look even remotely close to what she has done. Good for her, she is inspiring and it’s good to have people like you (Matt_Wild) supporting her. I can't afford a personal trainer to show me if I'm lifting the weights correctly and effectively. Or someone to help me…
  • Feel Free to add me as well. I have PCOS and just recently found this out in the last 6 months. My husband and I are TTC for the last 3 years or so. But just recenlty found out about the PCOS. So, we are seeing our specialist Doctor. Currently they have me take Prometrium to start a cycle and then around CD3 I start…
  • Wow Congrats to you. This is wonderful to hear. What is this 90 Day health challenge? I have never heard of it and would be interested in doing that. My DH and I are TTC and I would be thrilled to know that I could be healthy and have a healthy baby and gain 6 pounds. Anyways congrats again on your successful weight loss…

  • Harrison Ford
  • I am thinking I might go as 50 Shades of Grey. Wear some sort of shirt and then I was going to get paint swatches and put all different colors of Grey all over :). And one of these years I plan to be a Rockford peach from A League of Their Own as Dottie.
  • Sounds Perfect!!!!! I love Maximus!
