Hi there! I'm Kris. I had successfully lost 85 lbs 4 years ago with MFP and stringent tracking, but alas! The weight all came back and then some after I thought I had it all figured out and stopped using MFP. Now I'm back and hoping to lose at least 100lbs, even though I'm a little older and losing weight has gotten a LOT…

Not a great week. Immense extra stress, caved in a little to some of my cravings.

Starting weight: 290 Goal weight: 190 Current weight: 284.8 Total weight lost: 5.2 This week's successes: Not binging so much I gained This week's challenges: Being so stressed and busy I hardly had time to eat and when I did, I wanted junk.

So I just checked https://www.cdc.gov/obesity/adult/defining.html and I have to lose 15 pounds to get INTO the 'obese' category, and 83 to get into 'overweight.' I'm telling myself to just do my best and not focus on the label. Hopefully that's enough for me.

Starting weight: 290 Goal weight: 190 Current weight: 285.7 Total weight lost: 4.3 This week's successes: Not falling for the impulse to buy sweets. This week's challenges: Still battling emotional demons, and overcoming the physical pains.

Sounds familiar. I'm Kris and I'm 31 - for the next few weeks, at least. I'm up to 290 now. These challenges in MFP were good for me before. I had lost 85 lbs and gotten down into ONEderland, but gained it all back. I've had this struggle for most of my life, and now it's ruining my relationships and health. My goal weight…

Google has an excel-like spreadsheet where you can have everyone participating input their updates and have it show the improvements, as long as you give them access to input their data. I've done that for previous challenges and it works well. It also allows users to choose a pseudonym if they all wanted their numbers to…

I need the motivation and accountability to lose like I did years ago. I hope I can join this thread/group. Hi, my name is Kris. I was hoping to join in. I fell off the tracking wagon and am kicking myself back into it, but I've missed the starting point for several challenge groups. Can I be added for February or should I keep looking? @sasbw27

I'd like to start back into using MFP. I was very successful when regularly logging and participating in challenges. In the last 16 months I have gained back 60 of the 85 I had lost. VERY difficult without the accountability for me. I need to get into a challenge. May I join this one in February?

Hello, I'm Kris. I started MFP quite a while ago and had lost 85 lbs, but 6-7 months ago I had several life changes and wasn't tracking stuff as I should. Add in a lot of stress-eating and less moving around and - surprise surprise - about 35 lbs came back. I'd really like to get back to ONEderland in time for summer, but…

Well I'm in. I need to get back into tracking my stuff.

I'm skipping this weigh-in. I know I have gained in the past week, and I blame myself. I wasn't as strict with myself as I should be while nursing a back injury and working/moving around less. However, I acknowledge my self-indulgence and its level of excess, and I plan to take corrective action and get back to a…

I am up half a pound this week, but my normal weigh-ins are Wednesdays, so I'll check again then for my personal tracking. Not surprised, given I did not recuperate my sleep this past weekend. Really hoping to get below 200 this month, I just need to keep pushing and getting rest when I can.

I'll have a couple goals for April besides getting into ONEderland (a term I'm still new to). I'd like to tone up, my arms in particular (bat-wings like crazy). I'd also really like to increase my outdoor exercise. I have put in a request to change my work schedule, so I should have more time available to exercise in the…

SW (July 2012): 280.0 Current Weight: 211.4 GW for challenge: 195 or less Ultimate Goal W: 170 or less I think it'd be fair to hope for 15 pounds or more. What needs to happen now more than the loss is toning, and hopefully this current plateau proves that I am. Good luck to everyone!

I started MFP about 3 weeks after I decided to take charge of this situation. Around July 24th I was at 280 lbs. I am about 5' 10" and am aiming for 170 overall. In this challenge I hope to get close to 185/190. My profile picture is me late July, the above is me today. I have already gotten rid of almost 70 lbs/ 3 sizes,…

I usually enjoy a couple clementines, a banana, and a cup of Nestle Fat Free (20-calorie) hot chocolate. Sometimes I'll add more fruit like a small amount of grapes or a 90-calorie snack like a Special K breakfast bar. Generally lunch is my biggest meal, but that might just be due to my schedule.
