Thanks for the tip but I'll stick to what I'm doing, because it is working for me. I do believe everyone's bodies are different and I have had my thyroid checked, it's all good, My calories burned don't matter because I don't eat them back, I log them solely for the purpose of my knowledge.

I also agree with you, it just depends on each individual person though. Not eating back my exercise cals works for me, but I also have quite a large amount of weight to lose so my body has plenty of storage to live off of. Many people eat back their exercise calories because they believe they need to net over 1200 but…

And just to clarify, I work pretty damn hard when strength training. I also make sure to always stay in motion so if I'm taking a rest from lifting, I'm jogging in place. My heart rate stays elevated (I can tell this physically not just by my HRM) I sweat and work much harder than I do when just doing cardio, so I believe…

I count my calories from strength training. I wear a HRM and my heart rate does increase just as much with strength training as it does cardio, maybe not as continuously but definitely enough to count. I enter it manually created my own exercise titled "Strength training HRM"

Hey there! I think 8lbs is a very achievable goal! I have also heard that the last few pounds is the hardest to lose but my trainer who is the same height and around the same weight as you is still losing weight, and she currently lost 4lbs in the last 3 weeks so you could definitely do it. I would just like to say that your perseverance in doing this is fantastic, I have been wanting to do a juice fast, not quite 30 days because I would never have the will power but 5-10 days at most. My step mom and dad completed a 15 day fast under a nutritionist as well as a physician's watch and came out at the end…

I am excited to report my weigh in from 250 to 248, granted it was the 2 lbs I had gained in the first week that I lost but I am not going to let that stop me. I know now that I need to kick it up about 10 notches to get to where I want to be for Halloween :wink:
