We ONLY have family and family friends on Fb. We live in the US but my parents reside in Asia and my husband's in Holland. So it's a nice way to stay in touch with ease. It's kind of like a family newsletter in our case. Quite convenient. Though, mine is the ONLY one used. Hobby doesn't manage his at all. So we use mine.

It's too bad.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I'm a control freak, and certainly won't get one until I'm 100% convinced it's right for me. I just wanted ideas on how long people have waited before getting inked. I'd hate to gain or lose a lot of weight AFTER getting a tattoo and it becoming a mess.. That's my only concern.

Good considerations. I had a baby not too long ago, and I agree, don't get tats in those postpartum pregnancy areas..

"Maintenance" referring to maintaining your goal weight (not losing or gaining).

I hope you get plenty of responses because I'm curious, too! Btw, how much did Insanity cost you?

In GENERAL 1200 calories or less per day is too little IF exercising. The more you work your body - the more fuel it needs. Yes, there is such a thing as "over exercising". Just as there is such a thing as over eating. Everything in moderation is key.

I wish weight loss also resulted in the disappearance of pregnancy stretchmarks! UGH. I also really want a boob job :) May have to wait until after my second pregnancy though.

That sounds FUN! Wish I had a Wii but we have a PS3 instead, and I'm not sure that console has an exercise game.. :(

No you didn't miss anything. Unfortunately, I ran out of time this weekend to insert everyone's Aug data into the Sep spreadsheet.. So it ended up being that everyone had to submit their own Aug data in.. Sorry 'bout that! But I'm glad to see more and more submitting their results! Let's keep it up!

Do you ladies know if Jillian Michael's 30 Day Burn requires any exercise equipment? I don't really want to invest in a bunch of exercise equipment if I can avoid it. I prefer something along the lines of JUST a physical workout (ie. aerobics, tae bo, Insanity, etc)?

Im gonna buy a whole new wardrobe! :)

They're ready! Good luck, ladies! I am on a roadtrip and will have to wait until I get home to use my weigh-in scale.. :(

I remember when Troll dolls were all the rage.. Also POGS! Anyone remember that? And LOL, I also remember that computer game.. What was it called? Pitfall? Ugh, I'm terrible with names but I do remember playing that very game.

No problem :] I made a "note" in the August Weigh-Ins thread, letting members know that I'll be doing a spreadsheet. It's a great idea!
-
Sylvie, someone had mentioned this before, and I'm not sure if it was you :] I have absolutely no problem pulling together a spreadsheet. I'm curious how this is typically done? If anyone has any specific suggestions in how to go about this, please send me a Message, otherwise I'm confident in just winging my own format. I…

Hi, Sfergy! Generally speaking, 1200 calories per day, is the recommended allotment for a sedentary woman. That is, someone that has little to no exercise. On 1200 calories per day, and without exercise, I am not surprised that you are maintaining versus losing. That's not to say you can't lose weight this route but by…

It's a tough combination: making gym time and being the sole caretaker of young children. I can relate, although, my daughter is much younger and is 10 months. The problem is, a lot of gyms are not child-friendly, so parents are forced to find someone to watch their kiddos while they workout for X amount of time. And for…

Ahhh, okay. Yes, I agree that the organic stuff is a much better option.

I've had to slow down my exercise regimen due to some ED issues.

Gina, you look fantastic! Thank you for sharing these, and what an inspiration to everyone :] I have no doubts that you'll reach your end goal, and the mere fact that your boyfriend is "on board" with you, raises the odds of your successfully completing this challenge! Great work.
