  • Sounds so good!
  • Personally, I don't worry about sugars from fruit. Sugar from candy or cakes or soda, I do. I also view any fruit chips as candy.
  • I am liking the Venus Spa Breeze...because I hate using shaving cream, and they have built in bar so you aren't dry shaving. I recently bought an electric razor in hopes of saving money and I don't like it. But I also got a cheap-o one. It just seems to take so much longer than regular shaving.
  • Once the eggs are cold and then left on the counter (or anywhere besides the fridge), condensation is formed and that can cause bacteria growth. But, you are right, you are probably more than okay since you cook the eggs completely.

  • I'd agree with this if you own hens and get fresh eggs. But store bought eggs are already months old by the time you bring them home. And they were already brought up to refrigeration temp, so I would continue to put them in the fridge.

  • Can't top this.
  • I'm sorry but, it isn't 192 calories. The 6 inch white bread alone is 200 calories. I typically just get veggies. I change up my sauce and if I get cheese or not. I love their southwest sauce.
  • You shouldn't stretch cold muscles. A short cardio warm up then stretch then work out would be best. The cardio warm up could be walk for however long you seem fit. I stretch after, too. Just because it makes me feel good.
  • Love this. Well, besides the Halloween part. :P
  • I'm 25. I've been logging for just over 6 months. If you have an open dairy (to friends) feel free to add me.
  • It's a guideline, it isn't exact. Everyone is different, they are basing those predictions off the average of what is expected. Doesn't mean you will be exactly on their line. Just keep doing what you are doing. Eating right, moving more...and that will make you healthier.
  • Disagree. Both can be a physical addition. Personally, I think smoking is worse. It is gross.
  • It would be 70. You would go by the cooked calories, unless you are eating the kernels unpopped.
  • I think it all depends. I am 6 months in, 40 pounds loss, and I still don't really feel any different. I don't feel it and I don't see it. Others do, though.
  • Yes, amazon does have them. Or if you have a local health food store, they probably do too. Give them a try. I like the energy they give better than caffeine, it feels natural.
  • Hemp heart seeds have been giving me a good energy boost. I mix them into my oatmeal in the morning, but they can be mixed into anything. (yogurt, smoothies, cereal, rice...anything you want, really)
  • How YOU doin? You look great! Nice smile.
  • Stop using foods already entered into MFP and take the time to enter your own recipes, especially since you said you cook your own food most of the time. That is the best way to be accurate. There are some great tools on MFP to add your own food and recipes and you only have to add them once - then they will be there for…
  • If I can't find the dish in MFP, then I will do my best to add what I see, and then quick add a few hundred calories depending on how it was cooked. If I go to a local pizza place, I typically add from a fast food pizza place because they tend to be more calories and I'd rather be on the high side than low side. If it's a…
  • Does beer make you full so it prevents you from eating more? I would go with beer if that prevents you from binging on thousands of calories.
  • No need to go to Whole Foods or Trader Joes for healthy food. Whole Foods is overpriced, anyway. Safeway, Wal-Mart or Krogers or any grocery store is fine.Out of those three, I'd go with the one with the best produce options.
  • I like almond milk. Hemp milk is good, too. They even have rice milk or coconut milk. Or of course, soy milk. My favorite is almond milk, it is great in cereal. I don't ever drink a cup though, but I never drank milk in a glass either.
  • I agree on the salad or veggie platter. If you are on a budget, a bag of chips would do. It would be cheaper than veggies for a crowd. Or you can bring some soda.
  • ETA - I am pretty sure BOCA burger uses GMOS, too. Oops, I quoted instead of edited. Oh well.
  • BOCA burgers are a brand of veggie burgers that you can buy in the frozen food section. They are processed, and to me, they taste disgusting. Probably the worst "veggie" burger I've ever tasted. I know some love them, but the texture is just wrong to me.
  • You can make your own black bean burgers and veggie burgers. I would suggest doing that and then freezing them. You then know what is in them, and they will taste a whole lot better than the frozen fake meats. Many places do offer veggie burgers (I'm talking about eating out) but they are almost always BOCA burgers. If it…
  • Oh and carbs really isn't the enemy, only when you over eat them which will make your calorie intake higher. Just try to get close to your carb, protein and fat goals along with your calorie goals. You can eat bread daily, it won't hinder your weight loss. Save your pasta dishes for when you are going out to dinner (then…
  • Personally, I would avoid the meat substitutes. For the most part, they are processed just as much as a fast food burger. I do however like Quorn brand, it is soy free. I always look for soy free meat substitutes IF I am buying them. I also am a fan of black bean burgers, but they aren't now or ever really were a staple in…
  • They hurt, but if it is something you really want, it's worth it. I agree on finding the right artist. Talk to them, look at their work...if it doesn't feel right, find another artist. Portraits are one of the hardest to do, and even the best tattoo artist will deny doing them.
  • Slice any veggie really thin, then bake....they would be healthier than store bought (not fried, and also no additives). You can use any colored potato you want, or use any veggie you want. Carrots, squash, kale (just place kale on pan, add what you want to it, bake) or even fruits can be baked. They are done when they are…
