  • I've been eating very clean and watching my calorie intake. However, since the end of Week 1, I've actually gained 2 pounds... (so in 3 weeks.. I've netted a gain of 2 pounds). I know muscle weighs more than fat.. but I 'm just feeling really discouraged right now :(

  • I am on week 2, day 3 today once I get home from work. I completely agree. I was shocked last night at how well I did on the 'total cardio'. Compared to the previous time that I did it, it was a world of difference. I can finally get all the way through the warmup. And find myself keeping pace with most, where as before, I…
  • Well I got back at it last night. Unfortunately, didn't get to do my workout until 9pm, but I got it done :) PURE CARDIO tonight :) Come on guys, we can do it! :)
  • :( Work got crazy last week and I totally fell off. Missed all of last weeks workouts. I'm so mad at myself and don't know how to SNAP OUT OF IT. and focus on just doing better this week :(
  • So.. I eat 5-6 small 'meals' a day. Basically about 200 calories per meal. So I eat about 1600 calories a day and then burn between 400 and 600 doing my daily Insanity workouts. As I am getting more into the workouts and going harder, I am finding that I need to eat a little more to perform well during exercise. I would…
  • I would make up the missed day on your rest day. You still had a rest day, so you aren't "losing your rest day". It is not optimal, as the program is designed to be done in a set order, however, better to do it out of order than not at all :)
  • It is definitely not just you. I have to often stop in the middle of the sets.. and sometimes still take a little extra time on the breaks. I also get the pass out/ throw up feeling at times, so I know how you feel. The thing to remember is, it is ok if you have to take a few extra seconds, just don't abuse it. Rest until…
  • lol. Yeh... my calves are killing me today. So ready for the stretching in today's workout. I'm on the 'recovery' day today :)
  • ahahah. I hear you on that. That was honestly the main reason I never tried them before. To answer your question, they - like insanity - are only available for purchase through a coach/ on the website. It sounds expensive when you initially here the numbers... However, it breaks down to $4/smoothie. I drink them every day.…
  • It is ROUGH. But I'm sure it is sooo worth it. One thing to note is that if you are like me and are not used to jumping a lot... be ready for your hamstrings to be very sore. If you don't have a foam roller or "stick", I would get one, it reallly helps. It's fun though and the workouts are over before you know it :) Also,…
  • From a food logging perspective / overall = 160 calories. 17 carbs. 2g of fat. 17g of protein. 6g of sugar. It's made up of 70+ ingredients leading to 5ish servings of fruits/veggies.
  • I did the fit test today and am ashamed of my results. I am not going to be discouraged though and just keep telling myself that that is why I am doing this- to improve. Tomorrow is day 2. I believe that is the cardio circuit.
  • The Shakeology shakes come in 2 flavors: chocolate, tropical strawberry, and greenberry. They also offer the chocolate and tropical strawberry in a Vegan option. It is the consistency of whey protein powder, but mixes up a lot thicker. It is actually a mixture of roughly a dozen super foods (fruits, veggies, greens,…
  • I am a marathon runner, but I'm super slow. I think of myself as a turtle. That being said, I'd like to get faster and also become stronger. So that is my motivation. I also want to lose 25 pounds. :)
  • Count me in!
