Hi all, I'm starting BBG 1.0 today. I have a wedding to go to in exactly 12 weeks, so the plan seemed perfect! I got through about 3-4 weeks of it before the holidays, but with finals and everything else, I fell off the wagon. Legs and Cardio today were hard, to say the least. Looking forward to getting my endurance back.…

Have you tried petite clothes before? That might be a good middle ground (between adult and junior). I can't wear petite, but whenever I got to Banana Republic or LOFT, I always think some of the petite clothes are cuter and wish I could try them on! Full price at stores like that can be way too much, but they often have…

I'm starting a running program at the moment! I only have about 10 pounds that I'd like to lose, and I'd like to get back into feeling like an athlete. Anyone feel free to friend me!

You WANT to be sore after you lift. That means that your muscles are repairing themselves by fixing the tears you made when you lifted, and that repair is what makes your muscles bigger/able to lift more next time. The soreness is annoying, and it is hard to train when you are sore - but being sore is the best thing if you…

I would read more into thermogenics if I were you. They scare the crap out of me - can make you super jittery. I don't think they are necessary if you want to burn fat. I take a multi-vitamin, flax seed oil, and fish oil capsules. I drink a protein shake that contains both whey and casein - I usually lift in the evening,…

Hi Marie! I joined MFP a few months ago because I was doing Jamie Eason's LiveFit, and I wanted to track calories. Only lasted about a month a half on LiveFit. Before that I completed the New Rules of Lifting for Women - lost almost 20 pounds between that and just "eating better." But I've been stuck around 140 since then.…

I just updated my MFP goals to 1900 a day, and it keeps telling me when I finish logging for the day that I'm going to gain weight - so frustrating! Would love more EM2WL friends on MFP! Everyone else I'm friends with are always "under their calorie goal" at the end of the day.

I like using protein powder after a weight training workout. Some people say you can get enough protein by just eating it after a workout - but it is just so easy to fill a water bottle, shake it, and go when you're leaving the gym. I've never used it after just doing cardio (running, elliptical). And I've never tried…

Thanks for the add! I know I'm close to where I want to be - but I think I'll need MFP to maintain once I get there, for sure!
