I did the same thing and lost around 50 lbs so it's definitely doable.

Were spending about $75/week for a family of 3 (me, wife and toddler). We have many cheap grocery stores near us thankfully (Price rite and Aldi's are the main ones we go to).

I have stumbled along the way on various meals/days over the years but you have to remember, it is just one meal/day and as long as you get right back to it the next day, everything will continue on track.

I have definitely eased back in counting after hitting my goal weight. After a while you really can eye most serving sizes after so much experience and repetitive measuring.

Eating in moderation is somewhat of a skill IMO. Honestly though your mind is the deciding factor and willpower is one of the greatest things I have learned over the years. Figuring out what to eat is hard but figuring what NOT to eat is the biggest challenge.

I know a few people who have failed with programs like this. Eat less, log everything and move more is what I try to tell them. The best part? Not only is it free, you will probably even save money.

I like coffee for those cold morning drives to work but usually don't drink it besides that.

Stationary/outdoor biking because I always seem to burn at least 100 more calories on the bike in the same amount of time as either of the methods mentioned.
