I'm 5'1" so that is close enough right? I started out at 143 and now (after forever) I'm down to 121! whoop whoop! I feel like every short girl trying to lose weight needs another short girl to relate to!

I lost 20 pounds and I'm in a plateau, so to motivate myself, I wear my old clothes for the day (around te house) just to see how far I've come and it motivates me to feel like I can keep going. I really havent seen any of my weight loss myself because it hapened so slow for me (2 years) even though I worked my butt off…

i love to go out to eat, but now I feel like I have to do research before I go so that I will know what to get!

At my happiest weight, I was really muscular at 5' and 125 pounds. Now that I'm not muscular and reached that goal I am not satisfied. I agree though. Slow and steady wins the race. I have been living healthier since January 2012 and have lost 18 pounds. I have had friends do it faster, but this is what works for me!

Feel free to add me! I'm 22 years old. I've been using MFP since August, but I haven't linked up due to being embarrassed (yeh... i don't understand why). I'm supportive. 5' and 123 pounds now. I'm close to my goal of 115 pounds and I need friends to help motivate me to continue this journey!

I use the "suggested serving size" and most importantly, drink a glass of water about 15 minutes before I eat so that the smaller portions will make me feel satisfied.

We're about the same size (I'm 5'1" 140) and when I started I felt that way too. Pick foods that don't digest as fast like whole grain. For sushi get brown rice! I get jealous of tall people that can eat all day. I don't like a lot of the slowly digesting food, so you may have to google through them to see which ones you…
