For some reason this link doesnt want to work for me. Thats why I have been trying to find it and post it and then I ended up posting the wrong article. Such a mess!! Geesh...could only happen to me!😫

Ok so I reread my post and it seems I did click on the wrong link. Sorry for the confusion. I still dont think I should have been ridiculed though by some posters for making a mistake. Some people on here are very rude and think they Know it all! I was almost going to delete my mfp account for some comments but decided to…

This study isnt done by Ludwig.
-
I didnt say it was the ludwig study. Somebody else did. My study is from JAMA!
-
Yes it does It found that people who cut back on added sugar, refined grains and highly processed foods while concentrating on eating plenty of vegetables and whole foods — without worrying about counting calories or limiting portion sizes — lost significant amounts of weight over the course of a year. Why are you on me…

Just the article summarizing it.

In the study I read it said processed carbs.
-
Then there was this one today too!! 😂 https://medicalxpress.com/news/2018-11-low-protein-high-carb-diet-healthy-brain.html
-
I also think in the study the participants were eating mostly processed manufactured carbs and not the good carbs that come from nature like oats and fruit.
-
Thanks for all your amazing and insightful comments to this post! All these studies really confuse the hell out of me!!
-
Wont let me post...maybe have search on google.

I didnt say it was hard...I said it gets tiresome. I really dont appreciate your "tough love" attitude. I just wanted some " positive" reinforcement.
-
I do exactly the same thing!
-
Its not 10 mins a day because i dont eat the same things every day. I dont plan out my meals, I eat when im hungry.
-
I have no idea how to do the macro thing! I have done low carb and was a miserable mess!!

Ive been logging on and off for years never losing much weight because I grow tiresome of the process. I dont have alot to lose, 20 pounds would be nice. I keep coming back to this app though because its the only way of eating that lets me eat what I want without restricting certain foods. I always lose momentum though…

Oat_bran you read my mind! That is exactly what Im talking about! It kinda becomes an unpleasant obsession...not the same as brushing one's teeth in my opinion!

Thanks to everyone that posted! Alot of great tips! 😊
-
Thank you all! I am going to try to implement some of your strategies this coming weekend and let you know how it goes! Thanks for being there!😊
-
I am going to try my best to do the same! I wish weight loss happened as fast as weight gain!
-
It just goes to show you that everyone is different! I guess we just have to find what works for us as individuals and not fall into all the scientific mumbo jumbo!

Thanks everyone for all your awesome replies!

This is what I plan on doing! Exercising around 3:00 pm when boredom and hunger start setting in! Thanks!
-
Sounds like my breakfast! I agree that an apple or something does help if you have a small breakfast! :)

I'm not that active and I find I snack out of boredom. Once I start snacking, I can't stop!
-
This is exactly how I feel! :)
-
Sorry...I guess I should be a bit clearer on the definition of a snacker (imo) is someone who eats 4-6 meals a day instead of 3 :)
-
Yes I agree...the science behind snacking/not snacking it is intriguing though!
