I'm excited about this. I've been on MFP off and on for a few years. Tonight I was looking for ideas to keep me steady and accountable. Then I stumbled on this challenge. I'm competitive and hate to lose games/challenges and I love The Walking Dead, so this seemed perfect. I'm 39 years old, married with 3 kids (ages 13, 16…

Last time we went camping, I did a lot of prep work ahead of time to make sure we were eating better. Lots of fruits and veggies to snack on. I prepared taco meat (ground Turkey) that just needed reheating. Tacos with refried black beans went over really well. We made crystal light instead of taking sodas. Chicken and…

My husband and I were just talking about this. We don't drink a lot, but about every other weekend we seems to smash through our calories. Have you tried the Miller 64? We haven't yet, but are going to. He prefers craft beers (I'm more wine or mixed drinks), but we're willing to compromise for our goals. We've also decided…

Thanks for posting this! My numbers are very similar to where you started - it's motivating to see how much difference can be made in 3 months. Great Job!

I usually do a route through Glen Ridge > around FTMSW through Wildcat Run and back. It's about 8 miles. There's a Franklin Township facebook group that is talking about getting a walking group together.…

I just finished my 2nd day. Today seemed to go by much faster than yesterday. That was encouraging, lol. My goal is to do all 30 days in 30 days. There's a group for the 30 day shred. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/1580-30-day-shred-motivation-support

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing - these pics are a great motivation. I especially like seeing all of the pics along the way (vs just the before and after). Just knowing what a huge difference 20 lbs can make helps me to keep moving.

Nicole here. I'm 36 with three kids (ages 15, 13 & 10). I live on the SE side of Indy & work in Carmel. My weight started piling on a couple of years after my youngest was born. I've been very inconsistent with my diet & exercise for awhile now. Last year I worked out 3x a week with a personal trainer for nearly 12 months…
