  • Sorry to hear that :( We're about to start third cycle in a week or so. (Took off December since the last round made me feel like a psychopath. Sending positive thoughts your way!

  • Dragonwolf always has the best info lol, so not much to add. I just wanted to add a comment about vitex. Many people report increased fertility with it, but I wouldn't take it at the same time as clomid. The research seems a little spotty, but general consensus is that there is a property that causes them to sort of cancel…
  • I haven't had success with anything yet (3years ttc just finished third month of clomid. Taking a break this cycle since it makes me a psychopath and i want to be happy for the holidays.), but I have a girlfriend who successfully conceived with Femera. She's now four months along. I believe she was also on progesterone for…
  • Hey all :) I saw a few people hop in here and thought it sounded like a fun group. I like to do a lot of collage, both digital and not. I also enjoy sewing, and other miscellaneous crafts. I'm a little bit of a pinterest addict lol. Hopefully this'll be an active group for sharing ideas and support.

  • No, he hasn't had any testing yet. We just upped my met dosage and since we know for a fact that I have ovulation issues, it hasn't been a priority. But we said we would give three more months before having him tested.
  • Welcome Amanda :) Sorry to hear about your struggles. I'm almost 3yrs ttc and just was put on metformin a couple of months ago. No luck, but I've been told it helps both with conception and miscarriage prevention. Hope the site helps, I've found it to be very useful. (And now that you mention it, wine and cheese sounds…
  • I'm really sorry to hear that things are so rough right now. Sending positive thoughts your way!
  • Sorry to hear more drama, but I laughed about you getting your girl a different American Girl doll than the one she asked for. When I was little, they were just getting popular, they only had like three or four different dolls. I asked for the one from the American Revolution (redhead) because her stories were about horses…
  • I think I agree with your assessment that inlaws are either really good or really bad. I felt awful reading about the problems many of you are having. My in-laws are fabulous. I really lucked out in that department. No big new year's plans here :( Husband is a home body. I swear, we got married and he became an 80 year old…
  • I started it last month and was feeling the exact same way. Was very nervous. There were a few times when I'd have a bad reaction, but usually only after bad meals. Really does help to have a good serving of protein with the meal where you take it. In my first 2ww since taking it. Hoping it works as well for me as it has…
  • Sorry to hear that, I feel where you're coming from. I was excited, felt like cycles were getting back on track, and then def no ovulation last cycle and now this one is running at least a week longer than usual. I get the dip strip tests, but haven't even been bothering with those since I'd rather just put off the…
  • Woo-hoo, gotta love those small victories :)
  • So did you test? :)
  • Yes, I was wondering the same thing :) Any news?
  • Good luck to you! I agree with WifeofPJ, it's easy to go crazy symptom spotting. But it is also exciting. I've had seven or eight 2ww where I'm pretty sure I ovulated, and the disappointment is always worse if I let myself read too much into regular PMS symptoms. Sending positive thoughts your way!!! And I'll have to try…
  • I have the same issue. It started when I was a teenager and got worse over several years. Stomach cramping and makes my mouth and throat itchy. Just bananas and sometimes cantaloupe, like the other contributor. Now I just avoid bananas, which is a bummer, but better safe than sorry.
  • I agree with Finnellappe, it definitely depends on the individual. But for me, I had irregular cycles and for the most part no ovulation. I'm 12% down from there and within the last few months, it's become more regular (now in a normal timeframe, like 30-35 day cycles) and have been having all symptoms of ovulatory cycles.…
  • Sorry to hear about the mix-up, that's so frustrating! It amazes me how often those kind of screw ups happen. Hopefully once he has a little time, your husband will be ok trying again. And I agree with Jeep, seems like everyone is pregnant right now. Easy to feel down about things when it seems easy for everyone else. But…
  • My doc thinks I'm a borderline PCOS case. I have hypothyroidism and was irregular and anovulatory before I joined MFP. My doc wanted to see what kind of results we could get without adding any more medication. I started trying to lose weight just using the guidelines from MFP in August. Since then, down about 35 lbs and…
  • Big temp drop this morning, AF on her way :(
  • Good call that the group needs more activity :) I don't really post much, but enjoy reading to hear about others in the same boat. No BFP yet, but still hoping. Down a little over 30 lbs, which has brought back a more regular period, for possibly the first time ever. I'm pretty sure I ovulated yesterday, so just settling…
  • That's really funny, I thought I was the only one who thought in terms of that. I've been excited to be down the big bag of dog food :)
  • I'm a huge fan of making a big pot of soup and having it for lunch all week. It's easy, filling, and even the ones that are a little heavier aren't usually too bad for you, considering how much of it is water.

  • Sorry to hear you're having a rough day. I know it sucks :( I'm in same boat, figured we'd have a couple of kids by now and not sure if it'll ever happen. We tried for a year before I realized I wasn't ovulating. Sometimes it helps to have a bit of a down day, for me at least. Get a lot of the sadness out so that I can…
  • Good luck, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. I'm new to the group, but was at tail end of my 2ww with you. It's crazy how easy it is to convince myself that this is the time :( Not my cycle this time, but on plus side, first ovulation I've had since May. It's reassuring to hear from others in the same boat. Good luck,…
