I absolutely feel that way! You are not alone. I have recently started counseling to deal with this very issue. One of the most important things that I have learned about myself is this: Pain makes me live in my emotional brain. It takes me to a place mentally that is hard for me to manage. It takes me out of my rational…

It am relatively new to living with chronic pain. I am still struggling with many of the same issues. Other people can't feel or see your pain so they have a hard time relating to it. I try to not talk about it too much to my hubby because he feels helpless to help me. I do vent a little to friends and family who are…

My personal trainer put a program together for me that helps keep inflammation down as much as possible while improving and maintaining my muscle strength to help protect my joints. I lift light weights with high repetitions (15 reps , 2 sets). I have reduced the intensity of my cardio workouts. My goal is to do cardio at…

I looked up the Track and React what a neat resource!

I am sorry that your arthritis has been painful in these last few days. I hope you feel better soon :) I am trying to keep autoimmune issues at bay right now as well. I haven't heard of the Track and React from the Arthritis Foundation? It sound interesting. Is it for your i-phone?

So far this eating plan has proven to be very complex. There is no easy way to know if a food is inflammatory or not. I have cross referenced many sources and there does not seem to be consensus on what foods are inflammatory and what foods are anti-inflammatory. There is little scientific evidence to back any of it. What…

Hi Everyone, I am finding solace in these posts today. It is nice to see a group of people who have similar struggles as myself taking care of themselves and their health regardless of a diagnosis. I am currently waiting for an official diagnosis from my Rheumatologist. I have had stiffness in my joints since I was 8 years…

You look amazing, healthy and active! I love that fitness has improved your immune function too! I had this benefit almost immediately from fitness as well. I have heard that shift work can reap havoc on your health. Congratulations on making lifestyle changes that have obviously had a positive impact on your health.

I do take their weight into account. I probably will be at the top of my BMI rather than the bottom when I reach my goal weight. I go by how my body looks and feels rather than a particular number on the scale. Last year at Macy's I came across a line of lingerie that was sassy, fun, sexy and supportive for my full bust.…

You look amazing! I like that you have fallen in love with fitness too! I just started MFP last week. I am a 13/14 and looking to slim down with a focus on fitness as well. I have a starting point and a body type very similar to yours. It is great to see another curvy girls success story :) Thanks for the inspiration!

I took my measurements: Neck:13 3/4 Bust:44 (DDD) Under bust: 36 1/2 Waist:35 1/2 Thighs: 39.5 Hips: 44. At 5'7" and 175lb. I am healthy and athletic but not slender. When I was 160lbs I was still a size 13/14 pants size but leaner. It's nice to see other women who are of a similar stature as myself. Good Luck on reaching…

So Motivating! I love the pics of you at 130# in 2007 and then again now much more fit! Amazing! It just shows how important exercise not just weight loss is for your physique. Nice work. Thanks for sharing!

Wow! I'm a mom of twins and a singleton too. My tummy looks much like your starting photo (but add lots of stretch marks). I had pretty much given up on my stomach losing it's overhang at the c-section scar, but I can see that it can be accomplished. Thanks for sharing!

Hi! I am thirty four and just joined MFP yesterday. I am a stay at home mom of three young boy's. I am enjoying my 30's as a wife, mother and Artist. At 35 I am the happiest I have ever been. Yay 30's! After the birth of my twins and third child the baby weight hung around and the stress of life made it difficult to manage…
