Hi, nice to meet you all I'm 5 foot, goal wt 126lb. Started at 216lb, now at 199lb. This is the first time I've succeeded in losing any significant amount of weight so I'm determined to get to my goal, which will take me another 14 months. I'm focusing on small goals -the most recent was to break the 200lb barrier and get…

Hi Well done you! I think we all went astray over Christmas. I'm back and keen to get back on track. Next Saturday will be week 19 of the original challenge, I hope to be back down to 200lb by then with a 1lb per week goal. Will report back on Saturday and start the week 19 thread. Good luck

I'm really happy that I kept to my exercise plan for sept with only 3 days in the month where I didn't manage any. My goal for October is to keep the exercise going and I should hit the 1st stone weight loss sometime in the month. Then I'll only have 5 1/2 more to go lol! I have to say I've never felt so motivated before…

Hi Amanda I agree with Andi, you started the group and just in time to motivate me, so I hope you feel better soon and get back on track. We all need to take time out from time to time, so come back when you're ready and hopefully we will all still be here encouraging each other. Thanks to Jennifer for stepping in fro me…

Many thanks for the code, book ordered :-)

I agree you look great, what a motivator for those of us just starting. Thanks for sharing this, maybe a year from now I can do the same :-)
-
Kept within my goals and exercised daily so very happy. Lost less than my wk 1 target but happy with 1lb and 1 inch off waist and hips :-)

Unless your blood pressure is a problem, don't worry about it too much unless you are way over the recommended amount. Sodium is found naturally in most things and is especially high in ready mad processed foods you buy. Try making your own versions of dressings without adding any salt, eg olive oil and lemon juice. Look…

Hi I agree with the other responses, don't drink green tea if you don't like it, try any sugar free drinks, herbal teas, fizzy water with sugar free squash etc. you will find something you like. You will probably find it hard to simply stop all puddings, meringues, sweet treats entirely and this will make you miserable and…

Thanks for the encouragement, its good to know its not just me. Maybe we've laid down some muscle, which weighs heavier than fat?
-
Well I've been really good all week and exercised daily. Made the fatal error of stepping on the scales mid week only to find I was 2.5lb heavier than last Saturday :-( So I'm hoping I will at least be back to our first weigh in wt this weekend. If not I'll have to reduce my calorie target to 1200 as I've been aiming for…

Good morning all Personal goal: to lose 6lbs by the end of the month Exercise goal: 30 minutes exercise every day in September and if I fail on any one day, then I will make it up on the following day. As 60 minutes of exercise does not appeal I hope this thought will keep me on track! Nutrition/food goal: to keep within…

Thanks, have started walking 30 mins a day. So far so good but it has only been a week!

Personally I am not a fan of exercise but know I need to do some, so any support or ideas to motivate me would be gratefully received. Thanks for starting the group, this is a new experience for me and am really hoping the group support will help me to lose weight and get fit.
