I like the Elements am/pm yoga DVD. It has two 30 minute practices, one for mornings and one for evenings. Although I enjoy yoga classes I can't get to one every week and so do a lot at home by myself.

I have lost 38lbs in 6 months. I have another 16lbs to go, and fully expect it to be harder to lose the last few pounds than it was to lose the first few.

Where did the OP say she weighed herself at night? She said she just weighed herself - i.e. this morning. I agree that it is pretty unlikely you have put that much fat on that quickly. Wait a few days and see what happens.

I think I am going to log, but my plan is to eat at maintenance for the whole of December as I know thre will be lots of food and not much opportunity for exercise. I just want to lose another 4lbs and get down to 12 stone before the start of December first.

Me! I teach a nursery class and we always have a CIN party. It is going to be hard resisting the cakes.

I eat either porridge or granola for breakfast. I take fresh or dried fruit to work as snacks.

7 miles added today (1 mile walked, 6 miles cycled). I set my target this month slightly lower than last month as I didn't think I'd get as much chance to clock up mileage - but I am going to hit it stupidly early. Not sure whether to increase my target or just keep going over target.

I don't worry about it. I closed my diary tonight with calories left over - to be honest I don't entirely trust MFP's exercise calorie estimates. If I was hungry I'd have eaten some of them, but I'm not so I haven't. It seems to work for me.
