I set mine at maintenance. then by quick add calorie - 250-500 depending on the exercise of the day. and eat mainly 1200+/-

breakfast: oatmeal is my favorite. and cocoa powder with glass of milk lunch: i love to pack different fruits/veggies. eat a different varieties. :)

drink tones of water... that's what I did... btw, I do like drinking coffee black. or try the creamer called "Mini Moo's® Half & Half | Land O'Lakes", it only has 1g of fat, and add sugar like stevia into ur coffee to make it better? A coffee a day makes me happy so why cut back if found better alternatives :P

Thanks! are you on any of the lifting workout schedule or do you just create your own? I used to do 1 leg day, and 2-3 upper body days per week with 1-2 cardio sessions. May I know how you split your workouts? I will look into TDEE method an figure out my actual numbers. thx again :smiley:

My set back comes from I was never that "bad". I was 140 to start with and now I'm between 118-122, but I still looking into lose another 10 lbs. It's not biggy, I'm still considered healthy, I'm still working on toning my body, and it looks good. BUT I WANT THAT NUMBER. maybe that's unhealthy..?

I have the same problem. because right now we all in holiday mode and I'm between jobs and schools as well as the season, So I'm not really go to the gym rather workout at home. I kind of lost my motivation but I promise myself to go after mid-January.

If you are not planning on letting them go for the rest of your life., just eat them, in a smaller portion. like weigh out one serving or even half serving of chips and eat it. It's not necessarily bad for your weight loss journey

Same here, I was going thru some health issues so I wasn't ablt to workout for a while, then I put on couple pounds. Right now I wanna wipe off extra fat I have, tone my body before the new year :disagree:

LOL, instead of saying counting calories, I would say that I use MFP to help me stay healthy. Don't bother. move on. be you. look down to ignorance

Tip for restraurant: when you order, you can order basic protein (i.e. chicken or steak with no butter, plain cooked) with veggies (also w.o butter, steamed)..just to modify the dish a little bit to get clean food, you don't always have to order salad. I'm a foodie and around your height, add me if you want to : )

I would say eat at least 1200 a day and see how your body feels. Since your TDEE is 3000+, you can easily hit 2000 if you want and still lose weight. Are you doing any exercises? :)

same here. I had a surgery last week and I took this whole week of because my doctor said so, I also felt bad, so I did some light workout, such as stretch, and some workout videos on youtube (not the cardio ones, but the arm/abs/legs workout) just to get my heartrate pump up. Anyways, good luck on us! hopefully we won't…

I'm a vegetarian also and I don't know how to keep my protein up other than dringking protein shakes and eating protein bar -_-
