  • I eat them at least once a week. And ifyouarenot in the mood for asian flavors, they go well with yogurt based sauces and low fat beef. Try tzatziki and beef as a sauce, that’s what I do. Also, no rinse shiratakis exist and those are the best. There is nothing bad for you in them.
  • Non fat latte with sugar free vanilla syrup!
  • I just started weaning and its impossible for me to diet while bfing. Your body needs nutrients, especially in my case where i was put on a strict diet through my pregnancy thanks to gestational diabetes. I tried restricting calories but that lowered my supply and made me very unhappy. Dont rush to lose the weight is my…
  • Ah i see, thanks for the replies!

  • I used white rice, simply because it's cheaper and we have a lot of it. I put in rice, just to give a bit of texture, so any rice should be fine. I guess canned beans would work too if you rinse very well, as a matter of fact, they would probably be ready to get mushed a lot faster. I just don't use them, like you said,…
  • That is exactly why I make these! I used to buy frozen bean burritos because they satisfied me without ruining my calorie budget, but the sodium content was off the charts! Now, whenever I have the urge to grab some soft, flavorful bean burritos, I just microwave one of these and it's ready pretty fast! :)
  • i feel like i pass out sometimes too. i just have no control over it, my eyes close and that's it. when i wake up, i always feel horrible though, my mouth has this terrible taste and my body feels weak and painful.
  • thanks! apparently my TDEE is 2100 calories, and BMR is 1533, so 1600-1700 is pretty good and I feel full :) I feel so motivated now haha :)
  • oh wow, i never knew about TDEE. So I had a calorie deficit anyways, according to this calculator. I will try weighing myself once a week and see if this works. thanks!
  • Oh my, I thought it was a belly button ring until I read this!
  • i have 2 small mutts too. i walk them around an hour and a half everyday, if it's not raining. but the walking doesn't seem to help much with weight issues or body toning... :( we have been doing it ever since i adopted them but i didn't notice a lot of changes in my body. but i do enjoy seeing them happy anyways :)
  • oh, thank you :) i will download the app as well, thanks for that fishgutzy.
  • I actually started walking about a year ago, I walk, on average, an hour a day, I try to walk faster but I have a walking companion that doesn't really go with my pace(a 4 year old dog), he stops and sometimes he runs and drags me behind him. I can keep up if he runs just for a minute, but then I'm pooped out. I guess I…
  • Thank you for the replies everyone. And to why I cooked separate meals from my family is I was cooking more vegetables and lean meats for myself to be able to eat my fill(like, on a lasagna night, you can only eat a teeny tiny, very very small square and I just never felt satisfied at all with just that) while my family…
  • I am incredibly jealous of you... All inclusive resorts in Turkey have the best buffets I have ever seen. I actually would suggest against dieting while there because there is an incredible variety of lean meats(hello juicy kebabs! you will not find those anywhere else, I assure you) tomato and cucumber based salads,…
