Hmmm I have PCOS and have very little belly fat. I carry my weight in my bottom half and arms. Every woman is different.

Welcome! First off, you are beautiful now. Tell yourself that everyday. Start with incorporating small changes in your life so you don't get overwhelmed and give up. Slow and steady will get you to your goal. You can do it!

I have PCOS and have lost over 40lbs in about 18 months. I also suffer from hypothyroidism. PCOS slows down your metabolism making it harder to lose weight. I have had to work closely with my endocrinologist and dietitian to get where I am. I have to eat less and workout harder than the average person of my height and…

I usually load my plate up with fruits and vegetables and take one item from the dessert table ( yesterday it was a chocolate covered strawberry) I throw my plate away and make it a point to not go back for seconds. I always have a bottle of water in my hand to drink from. I agree with staying away from the food table as…

No gym for me either. I am a stay at home mom with a 2 year old and a small business I run from home with a husband who works full time and is in graduate school, so there is no time for a gym. I do have an elliptical machine I use, I go for walks, do some squats and light weights, and I run around at the playground with…

Watermelon. I could seriously eat a entire huge watermelon in a day. Also cherry tomatoes. Eat those things like candy

I agree with everyone above. Log it and be accountable that it happened, then start with a whole new day tomorrow. I had a bad day today too. Indulgence is a part of life and learning how to bounce back from it is a big part of being successful at weight loss. Fit in an extra workout or 2 if you are feeling guilty but you…

There are some major glitches with it unfortunately. If you go under the "My recipes and foods" tab you can edit the recipe there and resave it. It should save correctly. To delete a recipe, just swipe to the left and the red delete box should appear on the right hand side. Hope this helps!

Ended up with a big plate of zucchini noodles tossed with some left over chicken and vegetables. It was quite good and under 400 calories! That stuffed portabello sounds awesome. I will have to remember that one.

About 500.

Good grief people! My original post was simply trying to encourage you to just be happy that you are losing weight and the fact that every pound you lose you are that much healthier. In the end your biggest reward should be standing in front of the mirror and being happy with the body you see and loving the person looking…

I've been continue with my leg exercises and doing planks on my elbows. Push ups are too much on my wrists right now. I know how important it is to keep everything moving with PA. They had to change my medication due to insurance so I'm hoping it's just a small flare until I adjust to the new meds.

I'm not trying to get into an argument. I just stated my opinion on the matter. Weight gain is caused by eating more calories than your body is burning. It's pretty plain and simple. There are other factors that can contribute, medications, illness ect.

Blah. Rather have peanut butter.

I'm saying why do people feel the need to reward themselves for doing something they should have been doing all along? We are all in this struggle to lose weight because we were bad to ourselves and let ourselves live an unhealthy lifestyle and become overweight. I think it is an unhealthy mind set to think "I ate healthy…

My 2 year old is a little piggy. She never tries to share food, unless it's with the dog

The number falling on the scale is reward enough for me! Along with being healthier and living longer sounds like a pretty damn good reward. Why does everyone feel the need to reward themselves in weight loss?!

It's bad that our world is so overweight that we think people of a healthy weight are too thin or have a eating disorder. Don't worry about other people. Lose weight until you feel good and healthy. You will out live them anyway

Relax and enjoy your vacation. As long as you plan on going back to exercising and logging you foods when you get back and don't extend your vacationing ways, I see no reason to worry. If you gain a few pounds, oh well. It should come off easily after you get back. I think it's important to not let ourselves become so…

Totally agree with this! This is exactly what I did. The fruits and vegetables was something that was holding me back, as well as all their "endorsed foods". MFP has taught me so much about food and nutritution and what I need to eat to make my body run better. I think weight watchers is a great starting point for some…

Epson salt baths on my strength training days. If I'm too sore to move then I rest.

1 cup of fat free Greek yogurt 1 packet ranch seasoning Mix, spread on chicken and bake for 30 mins. Yummy ranch chicken!

You can do this! Do this for YOU! Do it so YOU feel good, do it so you can keep up with your children and live a long life to see them grow. Be an inspiration to your children and a good healthy role model. Start off slow! Make small changes at a time. Jumping right into to a crazy strict diet and exercise program will…

Soup recipes do sound good. I think I will do bbq chicken sandwiches over the weekend. That hummus bowl is beautiful. Mine would never look that nice. Question about lettuce wraps: What is the best type of lettuce to use?

Try new foods and different ways to prepare them. Expand you palate. I used to hate fish but I found ways to cook it that I began to enjoy it.

Yes! Men's clothing sizes makes so much more sense

Oh my! I am with you on the Asian glazed drumsticks. They are ridiculously good.

One of the reasons Weight Watcher's didn't work for me. LOG EVERY BITE.

Start with small changes and focus on one day at a time. You will have bad days, just don't let them turn into more than that. Don't buy bigger clothes, if you keep doing that you will just keep filling out the next size up. Keep wearing those tight jeans as a reminder not to eat that unhealthy stuff.
