Bump! I just got this DVD in from Netflix. I plan on the first workout tonight. Will post stats later after work!

I definitely can relate to you sometimes! I run on a treadmill all the time for fitness, trying for around 6 miles a week currently. I think if you vary your treadmill workouts to do a few speed drills, that really spices up an otherwise boring routine (and sometimes you are done faster!) What's really important for me is…

bump and saving for later! These sound good!

Bump! Thank you for posting this. It's hard to look at but definitely motivating!

Bump! I love bento - and this sounds like a great one. I also recommend justbento.com - just be careful not to visit when you're feeling too hungry and have no food around

Panera is a great spot for take-out salad. Their greek salad is pretty good, and they have a new Thai Chicken Chopped salad that's only 390 cals WITH dressing, and super filling...

You can really tell the difference!! In these photos AND in person!! You've been a great inspiration too ya know :D

Also a casual watcher here! I've only seen a few, but like: Mai Hime/ Mai Otome Peach Girl Anything Myazaki

Kudos to Whole Foods! I think I'll keep shopping there when I can... My favorite is when they sneak in extra "servings" in nutrition labels. My fiance was about to get a muffin for me that was ~200 calories, until he realized that the nutrition facts said in tiny print there was supposedly FOUR SERVINGS.

The thing is...you will get there if you don't give up! If you don't keep at it, nothing will change, and you won't feel any better. If the 2lbs a week doesn't make you feel proud enough, (which is should, any loss a week is motivating!!) try setting other health-related goals that you can focus on. Try working up to…

This may sound repetitive, but sometimes I too get uncontrollable hunger pangs around that time! It's hard to control, but I honestly recommend a cup of coffee and a LOT of water. After about 3-4 cups, I still feel hungry, but I don't feel like I have to bend over and sit down. Also, try focusing on your hunger and asking…

Don't let one bad apple ruin your MFP life :) There will always be a few nuts out there. Crazy uber Catholics... I was raised catholic too (my uncle is actually a priest!) but even HE wouldn't do something like that! Plus, I'm pretty sure that if there is a God out there, He/She probably doesn't care whether or not…

Firstly - So sorry to hear this happened! It's so disappointing when you get betrayed by the ones you trust. Secondly - If I were you, I wouldn't react right away, but take the rest of the day to calm down. The last thing you want to do is confront your friends in an anxious state so she gets to confirm later that "OMG she…

I've seen this pattern as well with my runs. If I weight myself the day after a hard run, I weight sometimes up to 2 lbs more. If I wait and rest a few days, then weigh in first thing in the morning, my weight actually sometimes goes down. I did my own research a little bit, but there's not too much out there. What I…

I've had LOTS of skin problems growing up and the best advice i have is to get into a good skin care regimen. Start with a gentle daily cleanser, a gentle toner, and a light acne gel or lotion. I'm not sure what MaxClarity is, but if its a skin care system, it will probably work as much as any other. There are others out…

No advice, but wanted to commiserate with you! I did the same thing this week, weighed myself just to see where I was at mid-week. It's been steadily up 1 lb from my weigh-in last Saturday. So discouraging! But you don't know what that lb is...wait a week and see what the scale says then.

I used to use this in high school. At the time, it seemed challenging, but now I find the workouts pretty weak, and I don't burn much when I do them. I wouldn't recommend them personally, but maybe the more advanced workouts are better...I just have the first set.

I HIGHLY recommend a starter running program like Couch to 5k. Google, and you'll find lots of advice, podcasts to download...I have an app on my phone I use for it. It's a 9 week program that takes you from 0 to 30 minutes of straight running. It totally works! I'm on week 6 now. When I started, I could barely run for a…

@Meag - Good luck on your new transition to normalcy. It's good that you can see what you need to work on and that you have a level head about it. Baby steps :) Definitely give yourself some credit because you are a fighter! But you also deserve to go out and celebrate life without too much worry about calories or eating…

HI Everyone - Sorry I missed yesterday. Got busy at work and didn't have time to send a good response. But I hope you are all having a good weekend so far :) @ Megan - congrats on the new puppy! That's so exciting to get a new fuzzy addition to the family! Sounds like a great run too! @jbars - Don't get too overwhelmed -…

Hi all! @katySteele - thanks for the recipe. Now I have two versions of healthy brownies to try out. I get that these would taste good actually because in Asian countries they use sweet bean paste in desserts. I've grown up eating korean food so it's not too far off from that! AFM - Today I'm a little more on track then…

Or check out Cheesecake Factory. The last time I ate there, I wanted to get a light, healthy simple pasta. I think it ended up being over 2,000 cals for the whole plate. Luckily, I had only eaten half...but STILL! Now I realize that if I even eat ONE PART of a meal from restaurant/fast food/coffee shop, the sodium goes…

Current size : 12/14 Goal: I'd love to be a 6/8! If/when I reach this, I'll take weighloss more slowly and see if it's a good size for me. Fantasy: 4 (not sure that's possible with my height - but man would it be nice!)

Wow this thread does go fast! Lots of great advice and support going on :) Today I'm feeling good - my breakfast is less than stellar today, but I'm excited for my quinoa salad leftover from last night and my yummy snacks. (On track with my Feb goals - that's two homemade lunches this week!) I also completed the last day…

Try taking Adult Gummy vitamins. Target carries some, and Trader Joe's has some that are only 15 cals for two! It's a treat because they taste like candy, and they can double for a dessert after dinner/lunch.

My current goal for my goal weight is a photo-shoot (maybe pin-up themed!). I think it would be so fun, and a great way to see the progress I've made!

Hey all - I'd like to jump in this month! I'm Megan, 26 ALSO from the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. (woo nmpresto!) I have a desk job as a web designer. I joined back in November but am slowly starting to see better progress. I've gained all my excess weight over the years with college and then a boyfriend I love who loves to…

My mom didn't cook too healthy for me growing up, but now when I go home for a meal I just try to eat more of the healthy options she has made, like WAY more salad, and half the main dish I'd normally eat. It helps!

Hah, I actually just changed my profile pic to Katy Perry (still left the real pic of me in my profile). i did it because I don't see my ticker a lot, but I do see the thumbnail pic. I'm not a huge fan, but people have told me I look like her sometimes - and she's got a great body! So, for me, it's about motivating myself…
