  • Bit late to the March party but guess it's never too late to start with the weight loss! Starting weight - 75.1 kg Goal weight - 74 kg 03/14 - 75.1 kg ... 03/21 - 74.8 kg 03/22 03/23 03/24 03/25 03/26 03/27 03/28 03/29 03/30 03/31
  • I've been putting off weighing myself for a while during lockdown, and I'm going to start weighing in daily from today. When I've lost the weight in the past, this was one of the main things that kept me accountable, and also helped to give me a little motivational kick if I saw the numbers heading back in the wrong…
  • Morning Ian, I'm in the same boat as you, the last year has been difficult to stay motivated. Just trying to take it one step at a time right now :)
  • Hey Adam, Firstly congratulations on your weight loss so far. If goals are what motivate you, then can you find new ones? Are you planning on going on holiday, or have a nice night out coming up? Alternatively, you could create your own fitness related goals. Sign yourself up for a 10km walk/run and try and get a friend…
  • Hi Maria, I have very similar stats to you, and also started exercising and eating well at the start of August. I've been strict with food and have been doing a mixture of strength and cardio classes 4 times a week at the gym. In just short of 4 weeks I've gone from 72.2kg down to 71.2kg, and I've dropped body fat from…
  • I'm a uni lecturer, and I find it easy to stay on track during the summer holidays, but a bit concerned of keeping a good routine once term starts again next month. Looking for some friends in similar situations for motivation, feel free to add me! :)
  • My workout today was a 45 minute Bodypump class. I've not been in well over a year so started light with the weights but I am looking forward to getting properly back into it.
  • I've never had issues with Nike Epic Lux, but some of the cheaper Nike leggings do tend to fall down for me when running. H&M running tights also seem really good, bought a couple of those now, and much more affordable.
  • I've been on the depo for coming on 9 years now and although my weight has fluctuated, I can definitely say the weight gains were down to my unhealthy lifestyle as opposed to being on the shot. Being on the depo hasn't stopped me from losing weight when I buckle down and log accurately.

  • Just completed the Salford 10k with a fairly decent time of 54:40. A minute off my personal best though so still need to stick at it to see improvements. 01/09 - 3.67 miles 03/09 - 6.19 miles Total 9.85/45 miles Upcoming races: 01/10 - Tatton Park 10k 19/11 - Movember 10k 26/11 - Wilmslow 10k
  • I hit my goal of 40 miles last month, so aim this month is to keep it pretty similar, as my schedule will be changing quite a bit and I'll have to work harder to fit running into my routine. So 45 miles in September 01/09 - 3.67 miles Total 3.67/45 miles Upcoming races: 03/09 - Salford City 10k 19/11 - Movember 10k 26/11 -…
  • Finished the month on 45/40 miles :) I think given that my schedule changes quite a bit next month and I won't have anywhere near as much spare time, I think that trying to maintain that 45 mile level is the most realistic target. Congrats to everyone who has hit their running target!
  • Managed to get another couple of runs in on Monday and Wednesday, and am just about to go out and run a 5km with sprints this morning. Will definitely be upping my goal next month! 7/8 - 2.62 8/8 - 3.09 10/8 - 2.71 13/8 - 3.94 15/8 - 3.06 17/8 - 3.17 20/8 - 5.95 21/8 - 3.93 23/8 - 2.24 Total 30.7/40 miles
  • Bit late to start, but I'm in for the rest of the month. Hoping to reach 40 miles this month :)
  • I'm currently in exactly the same boat as you - got down to my goal weight a few years back, and since then it's just been creeping slowly back on. For me it's a mindset issue. Recently I've just not been strong willed enough to get back to where I want to be, but I'm taking every day as it comes and focusing on eating…
  • So given that February is a shorter month, and my current crazy work schedule, I'm aiming for an ambitious 60 miles this month. It means I need to average around 5 miles a run, 3x a week to hit this. I got to 45.6 miles last month, so if I can push myself that little bit further every time I get out, then I should be able…
  • Got out again yesterday with the running club at lunch and did a very muddy 5km. I'll be getting out again this weekend, making this January my highest mileage month for the past year! :) Really starting to enjoy this again. I'm thinking 60 miles is a good amount to aim for in February. 1/1 - 3.36 2/1 - 3.08 5/1 - 3.08 8/1…
  • @michable Thank you! Not stopping there though :) Went out on my lunch break, ended up getting lost somewhere in the midst of farms and country roads, and added an extra mile onto what I'd planned to do. 1/1 - 3.36 2/1 - 3.08 5/1 - 3.08 8/1 - 3.25 9/1 - 3.08 10/1 - 4.66 12/1 - 3.56 14/1 - 3.65 19/1 - 2.90 20/1 - 3.48 23/1…
  • Unfortunately I had to be in work yesterday in the early hours, but took the chance to scope out work's local ParkRun, and went along to that. Passed my goal for the month! Definitely going to aim higher next month. 1/1 - 3.36 2/1 - 3.08 5/1 - 3.08 8/1 - 3.25 9/1 - 3.08 10/1 - 4.66 12/1 - 3.56 14/1 - 3.65 19/1 - 2.90 20/1…
  • Started the lunch time run club up again at work, so today was our first day back out together for a good few months. Forgot how fast they run! 1/1 - 3.36 2/1 - 3.08 5/1 - 3.08 8/1 - 3.25 9/1 - 3.08 10/1 - 4.66 12/1 - 3.56 14/1 - 3.65 19/1 - 2.90 20/1 - 3.48 Total 34.11/35 I think for next month's goal, I'll see what I get…
  • Didn't manage to get out at all over the weekend, so just went out for a short one today at lunch. Very close to this month's target though! Will definitely aim for higher next month. 1/1 - 3.36 2/1 - 3.08 5/1 - 3.08 8/1 - 3.25 9/1 - 3.08 10/1 - 4.66 12/1 - 3.56 14/1 - 3.65 19/1 - 2.90 Total 30.63/35

  • Today was meant to be a rest day, but decided to get out there and do a slow run, building my long runs slowly back up to where they were last year at around 7-8 miles. 1/1 - 3.36 2/1 - 3.08 5/1 - 3.08 8/1 - 3.25 9/1 - 3.08 10/1 - 4.66 Total 20.51/35
