I set my diary to gain half a pound a week while breastfeeding and that helped me get started on where I needed to be.

Yeah... it was my mom who said it... She's always said snide comments about my weight. I can usually ignore them but this time it hurt because I HAVE lost weight but it's not showing yet because I'm purposely going slow.

Weight loss is a lot easier for me when I'm not drinking alcohol. Currently I'm only drinking socially (when I'm not driving) and that's been a great moderation for me.

Not at your weight and height. Set your diary to "maintain" your weight. One thing I'm REALLY happy I did most of my last pregnancy was lifting. Obviously get the "okay" from your doctor first. But lifting really REALLY helped me hide my pregnancy weight gain.

I use to drink diet soda alllllllll the time (everyday) and I would lose weight just fine. I stopped because I'm trying to save money right now and water and coffee is cheaper than soda.

I just started (sw 190 - gw 150) and lost 4 pounds in 2 weeks. After November I'm going to set my diary to lose 1 pound a week. Once I get to 160 I'm going to set my diary to lose .5 pounds a week.

Yes. But I teach dance and I consider that work a mild workout. Talk to your doctor first. Edit- ah i meant to post my experience but then I accidently hit, "post." Sorry! My experience. I had IT band pain for months and months. My doctor suggested a cortisone shot in my IT band. I got it in 2015 and I haven't had IT band pain since!

Ah! Day 3 here of no alcohol. I miss it but I'm going to save it for special occasions only because it's easier to stay in a deficit without drinking a bottle of wine 3x a week.
